We stayed at the Langham for a weekend getaway to start our Christmas holiday. It was charming and the service was outstanding. From nightcaps at the bar to a massage at the spa to a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant before departing, it was wonderful. We look forward to going back next year!

My partner and I stayed in your superb hotel (Apr 16-21). The quality of the staff made our stay so memorable. This was our first trip to Boston (I came to run the Marathon - for which the hotel is an excellent base). From our first arrival we felt at home in your superb hotel. Staff were exemplary and our...

Stayed for a long weekend at the Boston Langham. Had a double/double room - lots of room, comfortable beds, and nice decor. Tried both Bond and the more casual restaurant (forget the name). Bond was really fun - very cool vibe with very friendly bar staff and good food. Breakfast at the other restaurant was really great! Food was fantastic...

Boutique hotel in a fairly quiet area. Very nice rooms with the most incredible beds! The service is first class. Located a short walk to downtown Boston. A little longer stroll to Boston Commons and the Back Bay.

As is mentioned in many of the other reviews, the service is EXCELLENT. Every single employee we interacted with was exceedingly polite, helpful, friendly. When we initially were brought to our room, I was disappointed it was so small. 2 minutes later the desk called and moved us next door, to a larger room. Although there wasn't a significant difference...

I have not stayed in this hotel since the days it was the Meridien - but am happy to report that everything I liked in the past is still true, and even moreso. Here is what is great about the Langham. First, is the understated elegance, well put together rooms, quiet hallways and business-like service. Little touches are great -...

Fantastic. Spent a few days here with my husband. Great getaway. Lovely in every way- excellent service, beautiful room and afternoon tea was glamorous yet, fun and relaxing. The 'happening' lobby lounge/cafe/bar where tea takes place is very inviting. This is a classy hotel. The Bond Lounge/Restaurant space is jaw dropping. We visited Boston for the Frozen Four and stayed at the Langham 3 nights. The hotel was cozy, the staff professional and courteous, and the hotel was conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk from the subway. There were tons of bars and restaurants nearby, so we found no shortage of things to do. We were also about 5-10 minute...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
