Flew in from Heathrow at 3 am (without any luggage) on a Sunday so it wasn't a particularly good start to any holiday. The room was very spacious and clean and the staff very helpful, recommending local restaurants etc. Quite well placed tho when you are walking to the Museum of Fine Arts without comfortable walking shoes anywhere seems a...

My wife and I stayed at The Langham for 3 nights whilst visiting Boston on our wedding anniversary. We were delighted with the standards of the hotel. From the very start you are stuck by the cleanliness and sparkle of the entrance and then by the welcome that the staff give you. Really the staff is the best I have...

This was the best Hotel I stayed in on my recent business trip to the US, great rooms, beautiful décor and excellent dining. The room was spacious, television in the window of the bathroom mirror was quirky and overall the hotel was fantastic. Great staff as well.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to the train station and the city activity. The people at the hotel were very informative and very professional. Our room was very comfortable. Did not eat in the restaurant, we found the menu to be vey expensive so we ventured out with so many good restaurants in Boston. Would definitely stay at this...

There is no doubt that the Langham is a top class hotel. Both the large lobby and refined bedrooms ooze class. It has a great location in the Financial area of Boston and is within easy walking distance to the harbour, Quincy Market, the start of the Freedom Trail etc. Access to the hotel from Logan airport could not be...

My husband and I were going to see a play and decided last minute to stay overnight in Boston. I couldn't find a room available for the night we wanted to stay. I did something I had never had done before, I reserved a room via Hotwire.com. We didn't find out it was the Langham until after making the reservations....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
