We stayed for six nights and were very happy with this hotel. The location was right in the middle of the historic center of Boston. Easy access to the Italian area in North end. Lots of choices for restaurants close by. The staff were professional and helpful. Our superior had a nice view and was spacious clean and comfortable. Boston...

My friend and I just recently had a girls week-end in Boston, MA. We had the pleasure of staying at The Bostonian. The location was great. Right across the street was Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. All the hotel staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. They helped us with directions and...

We were given a room as requested (high floor, with view and quiet). However when we arrived the room window was broken and did not close well, letting cold and noise go by. We changed room immediately but it was a shame we did not notice this before. I think it should have an electric kettle and an empty fridge...

This is a very comfortable, likeable, well run hotel in a great location right in the centre of Boston. I'd have no hesitation in returning at all. PLUS Points: + outstanding location absolutely in the heart of the city, right across from Fanheuil Hall and close to shops, cafes and restaurants. It couldn't be much better + large comfortable room...

My husband and I stayed at the Bostonian during marathon weekend. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and asked about our marathon plans. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was small and the shower was leaking (the only negative point about this hotel). We had a pretty little balcony with a beautiful view on...

We stayed here for six nights to explore the city and what a fantastic choice. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. House keeping and room service were excellent....

Absolutely in a brilliant location to see lots of Boston. Very new appearance with outstanding service. We noticed there was no refrigerator and asked, within 15 minutes a bar fridge was delvered. The concierge (and other staff) answered lots of questions and provided good advice. A highlight was the 4pm till 6 pm hot chocolate for all guests (delicious). We...

This the best hotel we had on our trip. The room was spacious and well decorated. Perfect town view. Next to the bathroom is an extra storage room for luggage, a perfect solution. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
