What a gem! During a 3 city US stay whereby the other hotels that we stayed at were both large chain accommodations, this place surpassed them both. We wanted somewhere in walking distance of restaurants/subway and with apartment facilities so that we could comfortably make tea/coffee and light meals as and when we might want to. The actual accommodation was...

We stayed four nights here in June. The suite was immaculate and well equipped and serviced efficiently. The location was ideal for shopping, restaurants and sight seeing and you soon felt at home in the neighbourhood. The self check-in and out was very convenient.

We spent three nights at the Inn and found it to be the perfect location. We were one block from the subway (excellent system), the Duck Boat tours and the on-off trolley, as well as being close enough to walk to lots of great restaurants and shopping. Our room was well-decorated and we found the refrigerator very handy. We also...

The location is spectacular. You feel like you are living in the neighborhood and not just visiting. The room was beautiful and the ammenities rivaled any of the five star places we have stayed at in the past. We don't have kids but if you are travelling with a family I could see how this place would be perfect and...

Although we were only in Boston for 2 nights, this inn was such a great find. Very quiet location, but only a block away from shopping, restaurants and the light rail station. Our suite had a spacious and comfortable lounge and kitchen area which enabled us to spread out and relax at the end of the day. Very close to...

The Inn at St Bodolph was a great find for us! It was centrally located in the Back Bay and an easy walk to restaurants, Fenway Park and shopping. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed having the use of a functional kitchen, including the espresso machine. Best of all, it was quiet and private, with...

Wonderful hotel with good amenities in a superb location.... the staff was so helpful, available and accomodated all our requests. Rooms are comfortable, clean and private. Would definitely recommend as an alternative to the chains that cater to the masses. The Inn also provides a wonderful, quick breakfast for those that prefer not to linger in the morning. We look...

Spent a long, friend's weekend in Boston and we chose The Inn @ St. Botolph because of the location (near restaurants and public transportation) and amenities. The decor is refreshingly current and modern. Each of our rooms had a full kitchen and plenty of room even though the square footage is on the small side. Very well laid out. There...

The room was exactly what I wanted- basically like having a flat to stay in, with kitchenette, and spacious. very comfortable bed. I always prefer this to staying in a tiny box room at a normal hotel with not even a fridge. The area, Back Bay, is lovely, and St Botolph street is beautiful- you get a nice feeling the...

We only stayed one night on our touring holiday, but we loved The Inn At St Botolph. We got a complimentary upgrade to an exec 2 room suite, which was great. The place is chic, well eqipped and well located. The Concierge was very helpful indeed and I would highly recommend the place.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
