These rooms are to die for. We have stayed in both the luxury suite and the deluxe queen. You will not be disappointed! The staff was kind and breakfast was delicious. We were greeted immediately by a host, and were given a tour, during both of our stays. We can't say enough about how lovely this place is. The bathrooms...

I had high hopes for Clarendon Square because of all the reviews I've read. It surpassed every expectation. Our room was pristine and the bathroom was so beautiful. The bed was large and comfortable. The rest of the home was absolutely gorgeous and the Christmas decorations just added to it all. It was the perfect place to stay around the holidays....

Why stay in a big fancy hotel (they are all the same) when you can find such a "bijoux" Inn such as the Clarendon Square? This is the second time in five years I have come to Boston to attend a course at the Copley Square Fairmont Hotel organised by Harvard Medical School. This is the second time I have...

My husband and I stayed in the Clarendon Square Inn for two nights during a recent stay in Boston. We arrived in the middle of a blizzard, but the hostess we met at the Inn was so welcoming and helped us get to our rooms to warm up quickly. The Inn is so charming! The Inn is located in a...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Clarendon Square Inn (Bed and Breakfast) for a little Valentine's weekend staycation. The B&B was recommended by some family, and so we decided to give it a go. When we arrived (with 15 minutes left before the house attendant was to leave) we walked in the door and were greeted by a...

Have stayed in this lovely brownstone twice, different rooms on different floors and both were lovely. We walked from Back Bay Station with backpacks and were so happy it quietly blended in with the rest of the neighborhood. Staff has been genuinely friendly and helpful without being stuffy and overbearing. Rooms are beautifully decorated without clutter, which I really appreciate....

Always a pleasure to come back to the Clarendon. Great neighbourhood, great decor, comfortable rooms, friendly proprietors and a nice breakfast. The rooftop hot tub with a view of the Boston skyline is amazing. Will be back. Again and again!

If you have ever spent much time in Boston, you know the brown stone. Classic, elegant, beautiful, romantic. I used to love to walk around neighborhoods of brownstones, trying to imagine what it might be like to live there. Well, at the Clarendon Square Inn, my dreams came true. Ok, a bit over the top perhaps, but this Inn was...

Clarendon Square is a beautiful brownstone full of character in a beautiful area of Boston on a perfect quiet side street. It is on the south end of the Back Bay area, but is a short walk to the touristy spots. The room was very clean and spacious, with a nice simple breakfast of oatmeal, grains, fruit, pastries. We would...

We stayed here on a visit in September. Boston is an incredibly expensive place to stay unless you are far out of town. The Clarendon was perhaps a little beyond our budget, but made up for it with a great location, comfy room and a very helpful team. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable about Boston. Our room...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
