Clean, comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed in a Premier Suite. Living room was larger than suites at comparable hotels. Contrary to what I read elsewhere, in-room WiFi is free. Valet parking is $50. Thought I could save by parking in a surface lot close by, but it ended up being $45 because you're charged for two days (unless...

We were a party of 4 adults visiting Boston over New Year from England and stayed here for 6 nights. We booked this trip back in the summer and were getting somewhat concerned at some of the reviews on here over recent months. I have to say our concerns were groundless and we really struggled to find any fault with...

Had a wonderful stay at the Battery Wharf hotel. Attentive and friendly service, very comfortable room with a generous bath and great amenities, and the location is terrific. So close to the North End restaurants and right along the Harbor Walk. Bar staff were very nice and the cocktails were delicious. Definitely will return.

Batter Wharf Hotel ideally located on the waterfront, steps to the North End and a short walk to Quincy Market and downtown. The hotel is rather strange in that it is spread out over four building. The main building, check-in, bar and restaurant is where you will initially enter. Our room was in another building, across the driveway. Our room...

Loved the room, bed, leather recliner, bathroom, architectural details. Paul Simon's lyric "these hotel walls are cheap" does not apply to Battery Wharf Hotel. Even on New Year's Eve, didn't hear a peep coming from another room or through the thick wood doorway to the hall. On New Year's Day my family with a couple guests had the buffet breakfast...

What a disappointing couple days we spent at this hotel... The 'suite' which was actually old condos they converted into subpar hotel rooms was in a separate building than the lobby area... The staff was not polished and the service was terrible. Every time we attempted to call the front desk for assistance they never answered. We were told the...

We met family here for a one night stay in the north end. Our rooms were immaculate with a great view of the harbor. We walked to restaurants and stayed right in the area. Used valet parking . There are other lots in the area for less but all appeared full. I would definitely stay here again. We got a...

We secured this room through Expedia so got a great rate. Lovely harbor front room just a few minutes walk from great North End eateries. The room was spacious and king size bed very comfortable. If we had paid full price then the slow draining sink and lack of fan in the bathroom may have irritated us. But instead, this...

We stayed here on a Friday night because we were going to a hockey game at the Gardens. This hotel is nice. The staff was very helpful. It is spread out over a few buildings on the waterfront so it is a great location. We walked to the Aquarium (10 minutes) We took a cab to the Gardens but you...

We were in Boston for two nights and had a great stay at the Battery Wharf Hotel. I was really interested to see that there were some recent, negative reviews here on Tripadvisor! To the contrary, our stay was wonderful! Right from the moment we arrived, to the time we left, the staff was engaged, and very helpful. A tip-o-the-hat...

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
