I brought my husband here for his 40th birthday and it was exactly what we needed! Every single staff member was courteous and friendly and it was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was beautiful and comfy. The Whitney’s location is perfect - whether you want to shop, dine out, eat and drink at the bar, or just relax in a room and enjoy the mini bar. We are already excited to stay here again!

Hotel's Favourite
We had a spectacular time staying at the Whitney. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and I love how the hotel has an intimate boutique feel to it. When traveling, my family usually choose a king bed with a pullout sofa bed for our family of 4, and most of the time the sofa bed is less than comfortable, but at the Whitney, even the sofa bed is super comfy with a proper duvet (instead of just a thin blanket). The staff also surprised us with macaroons and teddy bear which my kids appreciated greatly. For reference, we stayed one other night at the loft suite in The Langham Boston, but we were somehow more wowed by the Whitney, even though we enjoyed The Langham too. We also had lunch at the restaurant and the food exceeded our expectation. The location is perfect at Beacon Hill with lots of interesting shops nearby, but the hotel itself is so comfortable, we barely left the room.

Great hotel, great location, great team! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as this hotel is located close to downtown. The service was charming and excellent, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and very well working. When back in Boston we will certainly return to the Whitney Hotel Boston. Mr. Kamil is the reception manger and he is very kind. Finally, Whitney hotel is the best hotel I stayed in Boston. Many thanks for Mr Kamil and all of staffs there. Regards

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at The Whitney. As she has special dietary needs we made arrangements prior to arrival to have her food heated since there are no microwaves in the rooms. The staff had already made a note of this and was prepared to heat it when we arrived. They also placed a refrigerator in our room for her food. When I entered the restaurant to take a look at the menu the wait staff told me tomato was the soup of the day- a great choice for a rainy and cold evening; I asked to take it to my room- the presentation on the tray was lovely- and it was delicious. I could talk about the amenities of the room, the modern bathroom and how quiet it was even close to traffic and the train - all apply and made the experience enjoyable, but... it was the staff, with their great customer service that I will remember. Hope to stay there again sometime.

We just spent an overnight here when in town to meet old friends for a holiday dinner. Such a lovely hotel with a cozy lobby with fireplace and seating and friendly efficient front desk. Our room was comfortably sized and decorated beautifully. It all felt new which was nice - bathroom was spotlessly clean and contemporary yet classic styled with subways and black fixtures and illuminated mirror - with luxurious smelling toiletries and Frette robes. The bed and linens were super comfortable although it had a really fluffy and firm pillow that I personally didn't enjoy but that's very subjective. Our only complaint was our room location which backed up to the elevator shaft so we could hear it moving up and down rather noisily. Being across from the red line Charles T stop is super convenient and location at the end of Charles street is perfect for strolling along Beacon Hill's charming streets. There were a lot of noisy sirens in the area etc but that's just part of staying in a busy city. All in all, a great experience and we will definitely return when we need a place to stay in town.

Smelled like sewage the whole time in the lobby and first floor. Small rooms, and very noisy. Elevator running right next to the room, storage closets right next to the room constantly being opened and closed. The General Manager, Agnes was very miserable, not sure why she’s working in hospitality and could not help with anything. There are much better hotels in the area .

I had the pleasure of working with the Whitney Hotel for my 12/17/22 wedding. I cannot believe it has been almost a year and that I haven’t given this wonderful staff a glowing review. Since the moment I had decided to stay at the Whitney, each of the staff members could not have been more attentive, helpful and kind. Kimberly had everything set up for me the day that I had arrived and was quick to help with anything me, my friends or my family needed. Not only Kimberly, but each and everyone one of the Whitney staff was so incredibly helpful and wonderful. I am hoping to come back in a few weeks to relive all of the magic the Whitney provided me and my family on my wedding day and to celebrate my husband and I’s one year anniversary. We hope we will be able to come back to celebrate for many years to come. :)

Looking for an intimate, high-end boutique hotel with impeccable (yet warm and welcoming) service? Look no further! We LOVED our stay at The Whitney. Our rooms were sparkling (510 was huge and 520 a corner room with great views but smaller than 510), the bar, lounge/lobby, and restaurant were wonderful and the staff was some of the most professional but approachable that we have met. Many thanks to Carol, Joyce, and Rob who all made our stay memorable. We will be back. Much preferred over The Liberty across the street!

Great property and location. Interesting amenities. Good value value for Boston. Specious rooms, fever tree mini bar in hallway, well appointed bathroom. Top notch front desk reception. F&B does not meet hotel standards.
