I wanted to love our stay, but the lack of sleep brought down the rating. There was a “auto” night light in the bathroom that was very bright and would not shut off—and since this door has a translucent window- it flooded the sleeping area. Every 2-3 minutes, it would begin to dim…but then instantly go back to the bright light. In desperation, I went down to the desk. They said it could be turned off? But it could not. It was too late to change rooms at 3 am. We had a corner suite, and my son was on a sofa sleeper. (In case you want to know, this sleeper was not a good one) There was also many lights streaming into that secondary room as well…microwave, light from hallway under the door, thermostat light and tv light! There was also a strip of staples which loosened from the sofas skirt, and my son cut his hand when pulling out the bed. Parking was valet and pricey - over $50. I did see a public parking garage (after-the-fact) on the same road just a ways down across from Legal Seafood. The good? It’s in a great spot in seaport with stellar views…and the windows in the bedroom went down to the floor. Views from the 12th floor decks and workout room for sunrise were beautiful. The workout room had my favorite Life Fitness machines where you can select a “hike” to view while working out. There were restaurants within walking distance, and a bar with some food options at the hotel. Breakfast was good and they did hold our luggage after checkout.…

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is new and perfectly located in the Seaport. The Pavillion is directly across the street. There’s an awesome bar and a rooftop deck with gorgeous sea views. Rooms a huge and clean. Great hot breakfast buffet is included! We loved it and will be back!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place for a business trip. The hotel was exceptionally clean and rooms comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive. Location is excellent, with easy access to the waterfront.

The staff was generally helpful. However their dress and attitude was very casual. Perhaps that's what Hyatt Place is going for nowadays. Other Hyatt Place locations I've been were generally more professional and that's what I was expecting. Other than that, I can't complain. Room was comfortable and clean, although there was hair in the shower and bathroom floor.

very modern very comfortable very convenient. No food room service. Room had a 'kitchen like' area but no plates/utensils that seemed a bit odd. small fridge and microwave tho in case you have leftovers from a local restaurant visit.

If the location alone doesn't sway you, let me tell you the staff is BEYOND amazing. The most helpful and personable staff I have ever ran across. I had a food delivery drop off go awry and the front desk went as far as to direct me exactly to where it could have been left just based off a photo I showed. On top of them assuring us that our luggage would be kept safe when we had to check out before heading to a day long convention. The location is right next to some very yummy restaurants as well but the thing that stood out the most was definitely the service. They were absolute rockstars!

Hyatt Place Seaport in Boston is unique for the brand. Most Hyatt Places are similar in structure and layout - HPS was a breath of fresh air. Although there is no pool, the fitness center exceeds most hotels and the 12th floor bar/balcony is a nice respite. I look forward to returning.
