Young, kind smart hotel, with many services and treats. Lovely breakfast and a lot of rooms each one with peculiar paintings. It is easy to reach if you have to visit Harvard. 40 minutes far from downtown
My son and I stayed here during a visit to Boston from the U.K. The hotel is in a great location, 25 mins walk from Harvard Square with its terrific bookshops and subway into central Boston. The staff were brilliant from the moment we arrived. Special shout-out to Joseph who helped us plan our days and answered my son’s (many!) questions with tireless enthusiasm. The whole place has a great buzz, very arty and colourful. Big queen beds in the twin room and a mini fridge which was useful. We’re already planning our next stay. Really highly recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at the Studio Allston. Sean provided excellent customer service each and every time I needed assistance. I love the lobby’s artsy vibe. Our room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The housekeeping staff was courteous and efficient. We will definitely stay here again!
I gravitated to this hotel because it’s pet friendly and conveniently located not too close to inner city but close enough for a short ride. The customer service is excellent, the evening wine and mini charcuterie customer happy hour is awesome. I will come back next time in Boston!
Great experience! They went above and beyond to make a birthday weekend amazing. Really unique amenities including a day pass to the bruins training facility, and a social hour with wine. Really unique art and room designs as well! Will definitely be staying there again soon.
Very clean and comfortable place and very affordable, not to mention they have great breakfast in the morning, they have very professional staff who make sure your comfortable and your stay is special! They also have a game and study area, the hotel is also very art based and cool to roam around! The location is convenient too due to it not being far from the city. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking to come to Boston.
One of the cleanest and most beautiful hotels in Boston of you love art this is the place to be 10/10 services and a very good breakfast they have a wide selection of foods and drinks and if you like games or something to do they have a game section in the lobby
Having a different theme and artwork in each room is an interesting concept. All was ok for the one night we stayed. I did not have the free breakfast. When we arrived it was evening and I noted there was no coffee maker in the room. I needed decaf coffee. I called the desk and a staff member made me a full pot of decaf and delivered it to our room. How lovely is that!
I stayed here for 2.5 weeks after my dad had surgery at MGH and at 3.7mi to the hospital ($12-$15 Uber each way outside of surge pricing) this is one of the most affordable places to stay if you need to be close for a loved one. The service was excellent and the staff is quick to help out in any way that they can. The daily continental breakfast is one of the better ones I've had if you can get over the lack of protein. Hardboiled eggs and slices of ham next to the bagels were what was available. Other than that, the pastries, bagels, Belgian waffle maker, cereals, fruit and yogurt were plenty. Its worth noting that the pastries they serve are some of the best I've had! They also have a free happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 4PM-6PM where they serve wine and some charcuterie. The rooms are decent. The best part is the beds as they are very comfortable. Other than that, there's nothing really outstanding to note. As a 6ft man, the ceiling in the bathroom is pretty low. From washing my hair in the shower to drying it outside of the shower, I was constantly banging my knuckles on the ceiling which was rough enough to remove skin. if you're taller, be wary. The bathrooms also seem to be lacking a fan, so if you're staying with someone, be sure to check if they need the space anytime soon or visit the facilities in the lobby. Also, the walls in the hotel are thin. You can hear people walking/talking in the hall and loud conversations/TVs from neighbors. If you have a problem with a loud neighbor, talk to the front desk as they are very helpful.…
I had a brief stay but it was wonderful, Sean was more than accommodating. He should be promoted because he’s great and his service was perfect. Sadly I couldn’t stay longer but if you are looking for a clean and easy spot this is the one. Very best to everyone at the hotel Elise - 414
