I came to the hotel with my husband for a weekend getaway to celebrate an early 40th anniversary. We originally booked for a king sized bed and Jackie was so generous and amazing that she upgraded us to a king suite. It was very spacious and very clean. We loved it ! The staff at this hotel is just super...

Excellent hotel in a great location near the theater district, restaurants, lounges, clubs, 15 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes walk to a trolley stop, 20 minute walk to the Quincy Market area, not to mention right next door to Tuff's Medical Center. Very good $ breakfast, friendly staff, would definitely stay again.

Its in a great location, near the theaters, restaurants, and historical sites. The prices are good, for Boston, and the service is very helpful. If you have a car, the parking at the hotel is limited. Stayed here to see the Nutcracker at the theater

Great for business and leisure location. Combining modern with practical makes for a very good and comfortable stay. Front desk staff very efficient and friendly. Working area available in lobby to meet colleagues. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Lunch quality was good. Close to shopping centers and taxis available out front

The hotel is in a great location. It is between the convention center and Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Plenty of restaurants nearby and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The service was great and hotel was clean.

Super clean, modern room, outstanding friendly service! This is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and not one I normally would be able to afford but I was here on business. Location was ideal also.

Stayed at this location to try something different. Loved that it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and theater. City view was nothing special, but nice not to look right at another building. Room was clean and well appointed. Floors squeak and hallways jog around a bit. Elevator is slow, but there is an open staircase too which was...

Got a really good deal for a Friday night, so while my cousin was visiting we headed up to Boston for a girls night out. The hotel was way cuter than in the photos and customer service was great. We were greeted with warm cookies that were really delicious. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby which was a...

Okay, so this was my first time staying at a DoubleTree and I was way too excited about those hyped up chocolate chip cookies. They did not let me down! It helps that the staff was so incredibly kind. Whitney has a true heart for hospitality and it made me want to stay (and befriend her). Nancy at the front...

We had an excellent stay and the staff was very friendly and accommodating with answers to all our questions. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks at night which were excellent and the bartender was very friendly. The breakfast the next morning was phenomenal and the staff was so friendly it made it hard to leave. We are looking forward to a...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
