It is about a cheap place with a good location. It is not a big house, or with good facilities, but it is a great place, in a very good spot of Boston. They also got lockers for your convenience. For me, the greatest thing is next to TD Garden. Check these out

Wow! Where to start? We came here based on reading previous good reviews which we now think must have been written solely by the hostel staff. If you are looking to stay here, please only consider bad reviews because they are truly representative of the time you will have. If you are thinking of booking the 6 person mixed bed...

Stayed here a couple nights. Came in from NYC and made it to the hostel no problem. It's a 10 minute walk from the metro. Was greeted by a very friendly guy. Walked in at 9 PM without a reservation and got one of the last beds available. I was lucky it was the weekday. Was treated to some free...

I remember visiting this hostel in 2012. At the time, I thought with was slightly above average. This led me to recommend it to some people. However, I must make up for the evil I have done in recommending this place. For this reason, I am writing this review: I will start with the positives; the hostel is the cheapest...

Thank you for your review and I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. I wish we could have found a bed for your brother as opposed to having him in the small ancillary room. Also, I wish I knew it was such an issue. When I saw you guys all in there together having a good time I thought...

The location of this hostel is quite good, just two blocks from subway station. Staffs are friendly. We visited during weekend and the 12 bed room is full. The room is very crowded and has literally no wifi signal (my bed is far from hall way). There is no elevator, very long stairs... They offer free breakfast from 8-10am, which...

I got stranded and mistreated by Greyhound. I tried to like bus travel, but forget it! ...That's a different review. Anyway, Friend Street Hostel rescued me at 2:00 am. I was checked in by the owner. He is a super friendly, and very hard working host. I spent the next three days stranded there because of the blizzard...and I enjoyed...

I usually stayed at the official Boston hostel but they are too pricey now and have become very commercial. This is how hostels used to be, affordable, friendly, likely to meet other young people travelling. Its clean, yes the beds could be more comfortable, but so could most hotels beds! Fantastic location and I would definitely recommend.

It is a small site very good and very nice people, we have access to the kitchen and refrigerator, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, too much silence .... and is within walking distance of the famous "Quincy Market" .. .

The mattress are so thin. So thin that yoh can feel the metal rungs of the bunk bed on your back. The breakfast is nothing but very cheap cornflakes, and horrible dry bread. By far the worst offering from any hostel that give you breakfast. The place is clean and location good. But the beds and rooms are rubbish. List...

“I took a top bunk, because I like top bunks...But I think because less people call the top bunk, my mattress may have been less used. It was comfortable. Bring a combo lock for the locker they provide, and bring your own towel.”
