The hotel may not be the best in town, but the attitude of the owner and staff was really super PRO - Let's start with a problem. The heating system was not properly working and boys, despite it was late April, it was cold. The morning after I mentioned this to the lady at the lobby and she apologized, promising...

In a fantastic location just a block from the Boston Common and Public Garden, is the Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro. This hotel is located in the heart of Beacon Hill on Charles Street in an early 1900s building. I have stayed at this hotel many times and what makes this lodging memorable is both the location and the staff....

Not only is this a great location, it's a place with lots of character (the good kind). Stepping back into the past can be exciting and this hotel is exactly that, plus the Bistro was the perfect breakfast each morning. Also try at least one dinner there as well, service was outstanding, but also the food. Plenty of restauants in...

Over MLK weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to take an extended day trip to Boston. As he wanted to stay in the Beacon Hill area, the Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro popped to the top of our list. After an entire afternoon of sightseeing, we checked in to the hotel. The front desk got us checked in quickly. We...

It is located on a great street with coffeeshops, restaurants and boutique shops nearby. It is walking distance from all the tourist attractions. I decided to write a review, however, because I was deliberating between this hotel and the Omni Parker for quite some time. I am so glad I chose this hotel. The room was plenty large enough for...

Located near the corner of Charles Street and Beacon Street, this hotel is close to everything on Beacon Hill, the Public Gardens, and the Back Bay. When you arrive in the lobby you will realize that the hotel check-in occurs at the hostess station for the bistro. There is also a tiny bar (seats around 10 comfortably) and a nice...

I had dinner at this restaurant with three friends. The service was excellent - attentive without any hovering. My wild salmon with perfectly cooked bok choy was delicious. The serving sizes just right. I didn't feel stuffed but very comfortable after finishing. I did not stay in the hotel so can't comment, but suspect it would be a positive experience.

Relaxing, pretty ( lots of windows overlooking historic Charles Street and the Christmas wreaths had just been put up) and not rushed. Repeat customer. Friendly server. Menu had expanded some. Liked my spinach salad with steak. My friend loved her fries. Great lunch option for Beacon Hill dining.

Ended up staying at this charming hotel for a couple of days after an Airbnb didn't pan out as expected. We also had our toy poodle with us so such a relief to find a dog friendly hotel. Our room was small but the old world decor made up for it. We had a quiet room that looked out into...

Our stay at the hotel was perfect! What a charming boutique hotel in an unbelievable location. We enjoyed staying in the cozy room with our gorgeous view of Charles Street. The highlight was having a glass of wine outside on the third floor terrace overlooking Charles Street. What a gem! The staff was lovely and our breakfast at the bistro...

Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street.
