I had dinner at this restaurant with three friends. The service was excellent - attentive without any hovering. My wild salmon with perfectly cooked bok choy was delicious. The serving sizes just right. I didn't feel stuffed but very comfortable after finishing. I did not stay in the hotel so can't comment, but suspect it would be a positive experience.

Relaxing, pretty ( lots of windows overlooking historic Charles Street and the Christmas wreaths had just been put up) and not rushed. Repeat customer. Friendly server. Menu had expanded some. Liked my spinach salad with steak. My friend loved her fries. Great lunch option for Beacon Hill dining.

Ended up staying at this charming hotel for a couple of days after an Airbnb didn't pan out as expected. We also had our toy poodle with us so such a relief to find a dog friendly hotel. Our room was small but the old world decor made up for it. We had a quiet room that looked out into...

Our stay at the hotel was perfect! What a charming boutique hotel in an unbelievable location. We enjoyed staying in the cozy room with our gorgeous view of Charles Street. The highlight was having a glass of wine outside on the third floor terrace overlooking Charles Street. What a gem! The staff was lovely and our breakfast at the bistro...

Myself and my husband stayed four nights at this hotel over the weekend and were very impressed! The central location is great particularly as Boston is a very walkable city, we walked to most of the main sights each day. The hotel is located in a wonderful part of Beacon hill with some very good restaurants on its doorstep. Our...

We stayed two nights in this friendly, comfortable hotel. Situated in such an interesting area of Boston, we were able to walk to what we wanted to see and visit. Staff were attentive and hopefully we will return one day!

The Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro: It really adds to your Boston experience! First; Location, which could not be better - where Charles Street meets Boston Common. Perfect vantage point for the Freedom trail, crossing the park to Newbury, or just strolling the unique Beacon Hill neighborhood. Then there are the rooms: with a real "home away from home feel"...

Our first visit to Boston and this hotel, it's team and the location did not disappoint. We stayed in a queen room on the second floor. It was extremely comfortable and very clean. We had ample room (with 2 large suitcases). The team here takes customer service seriously and it shows. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and each person we...

Excellent Service and authentic French Bistro food. Well conceived and well prepared with the most genuine and helpful management & wait staff. Very impressive service. If you are looking for something extra special, there is a small terrace on the 2nd floor that overlooks Charles St. What a perfect place to entertain a small group of friends of business partners!

I was involved in a medical meeting at Massachusetts General Hospital and I was put up in this hotel. It is quite pricey and really not worth the money. It appears to be a converted old house , but without the charm. In my bathroom the sink was cracked but I suppose that this was supposed to be in a...

Staying in Beacon Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
