Superb hotel for any purpose. The staff who work there are super friendly, the location is great and being the Ritz, you can always expect great service. Rooms are very luxurious, and the bathrooms are great! If you are spending a few nights in Boston and want luxury and outstanding service, come to the Ritz-Carlton!

As usual the Ritz Carlton provided us with a very special experience. The staff was wonderful and attentive from check in until we left. The doorman when we were leaving I believe his name was Kenneth was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the Club Lounge. Will definitely stay there again.

Marvin was amazing, best bartender I have met in a while. We dropped into the bar on the way back to our hotel from the movies on a very cold Saturday late afternoon. I ordered a Baileys Coffee and it was perfect, nice and hot the way I like it. Marvin shared his secret method of heating the Baileys before...

First off they let us check in early so we could freshen up before our show around the corner at the Opera House. The staff is so friendly and helpful without being fake. Our room had a great view over the Common, the room was huge to begin with, the bathroom incredibly so, especially the soaking tub which we used!...

I met my daughter for Brunch at the Ritz before a Sunday matinee at the Boston Opera House, nearby. Two hours parking cost $37.00. (plus gratuity of course). The lobby furniture is badly worn. I was a bit early, and was interested in the dinner menu, so I asked the concierge about it. She told me to ask someone in...

Everything you expect from a Ritz Carlton. The rooms are a bit dated now but the service is excellent. The restaurant is good for a Sunday Brunch, although the service has slipped a bit recently. The front desk and those who clean the room offer a very high level of service.

First time visit to this Hotel. From coordination prior to our arrival we felt like special guests in someone's nice home. The ambiance was elegant but not stuffy. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
