As the title states, we literally have nothing buy glowing things to say about this amazing property. We booked this hotel for our wedding suite as well as a room block for our guests. We booked a Hub Suite for my husband and his groom party and we booked the Penthouse suite for me and my bridal party. Before I get to the amazing staff, every room in this place is impeccable. The Hub Suite was very spacious and a great style, but the penthouse suite was completely unreal. With spanning views of the city, it was a complete once-in-a-lifetime stay. Now for the staff. Christoph, the Direcor of Sales, was amazing throughout our entire planning process. He was patient, attentive, and so helpful whenever we needed to make changes, add rooms, or. make special requests. Sean, the Front Office Manager went above and beyond for us and all of our guests the entire time we were there. He was so friendly, and really went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Everyone on the maintenance and housekeeping staff was amazing (I'm so sorry not to remember their names so they get the credit they deserve!) and were attentive and timely anytime we needed anything. To top it all off, this hotel is centrally located to all Boston tourist attractions including Faneiul Hall, Beacon Hill, North End, and more! Whether you're looking for a special event or just a stay while you're in town, you won't find a hotel better than this.

Our stay at the Nine Zero was a fantastic experience from start to end. Joe, Phil, Ashley, Christian, Sam and the rest of the staff are incredible. They exemplify superior customer service. I have stayed at a lot of IHG properties all over the globe and this staff is consistently the best. The room was clean, restful, inviting and pleasant. The views were amazing. My son slept on the roll up cot and found it to be very comfortable. The king bed was also very comfortable and roomy. I really enjoyed the pillow. The housekeeping staff kept the room in immaculate condition. They were very responsive to our needs. Overall, the Nine Zero felt very clean and safe. The location was wonderful. If you are like us and like to walk, you can get anywhere from there. We felt very safe walking at any hour. The Nine Zero is a terrific place to stay.

I would not recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for comfort - maybe just if you're in and out for the night from the airport or something. The room was sub par overall. The staff was honestly kind of a mess of a situation, I know they laid nearly everyone off last year so perhaps it's just a bad culture there. I had staff yelling on their phones outside of my room at midnight, probably before heading home for the night. I requested a rollaway bed, which they said should be fine on the phone and said would be "right up" when I checked in. It never came, and the staff actually yelled at me on the phone when I checked back more than once and hung up on me. I asked the staff's name so I would know who to ask for if the issue persisted, and she said "none of your business" or something eerily similar before slamming the phone down. All in all, not worth the money (or any money IMO). BTW, I think the woman on the phone was named Yelly but of course, I can't confirm since she wouldn't tell me. It was on the morning of Wednesday 9/7/22 around 8am, she had just gotten in.

If I could give this hotel a “10”, I would. Everything about this hotel was top notch: the convenient location on the Freedom Trail, the upscale decor and amenities in the room, and the evening hosted Happy Hour featuring selected wines. But the best part of our stay was the excellent customer service we received from the moment we checked in to the time we checked out. In fact this staff rates at the top of any hotel we have stayed at. Good customer service is expected when everything is going well during a stay. But when something unfortunate happens, as it did during our stay with a medical issue, the staff worked as a team to make sure we were given the best care, and followed up continually. The amazing team included the front office/reception desk staff: Enan, Mitch, Wendy, Sean, Shirley and Yary; and the housekeeping staff of Amy and Adee. We are returning to Boston in 2023 and will definitely book the Kimpton Nine Zero

Prior to staying, I read some of the mixed reviews so was prepared for any surprises. To my surprise, room was clean and Sean texted me periodically to check on the stay. Location is great and 10-15 minutes from South Station, Beacon Hill, Newbury Street/Back Bay, Chinatown, Quincy Market and North End. Very pet-friendly and free wine in the lobby from 5-6 pm daily. Check-in and check-out were easy and no billing issues (pending charges added at check-in for incidentals but reversed upon check-out). Overall, a great experience.

Very good hotel. Awesome staff: Cared more about our lost luggage than the airline and helped to fine (practical solutions). Smooth check-in. Clean, quiet and spacious room with gorgeous design details. Happiest elevator I have ever been in (put on your dancing shoes when entering!). Great location, close to the historic sight, but also some nice restaurants in the area. Go to Happy hour! Not only is the wine great, but it gives you the opportunity to talk to the staff who are happy to give you tips about this wonderful city!

We booked this hotel based on the Kimpton name, the location and because it was part of the "Luxury Hotel Collection" from the Chase UR site. It is a great location for walking the city and access to the T stops. But that's where the "joy" ends. Our room was shabby (creaky floor, worn furniture, lack of accessories, unpersonable staff and no services). It was an "overpriced, let down" as other recent reviews revealed.

Very dark and shoddy rooms. No facilities open. No coffee or tea facilities in the room however coffee was in the foyer between 7 to 20 am. No mini bar available and hotel bar did not open. No glasses in the room for the water provided only plastic cups in the bathroom. Very shabby and overpriced

My visit here was disappointing, to say the least. The room and cleanliness were NOT up to Kimpton standards at all, and the employees were totally incompetent, with the exception of one woman working Sunday evening. Rooms are not clean. Towels & linens had holes and stains. Bathroom was rusted out and gross. At this price point, the level of neglect and uncleanliness is absolutely unacceptable. Design of the room was also awful. Towel hook is like 7 feet from the tub, with one of the most slippery stone floors I have ever seen. I fell twice. Perhaps more importantly, despite touting themselves as friendly for business travelers, there were no lights in my room other than tiny bed reading lights and one overhead dim light in the corner. Impossible to do any work in the dark. Zoom with camera on was out of the question. And this was AFTER I upgraded. The original room had no surface to rest a computer on other than the bed itself, or I guess the bathroom vanity. Not enough plugs, and most were non functional. Also, they have only UNSECURED internet. Cue IT professionals everywhere cringing. I couldn’t get into my firm server to do any work because I can’t get in using an unsecured connection. Front desk had NO idea what I meant by unsecured internet v. secured connection with password, and kept telling me that it was secured. They were fond of doing that. Just lying to you to get you to go away, when it was clear they had no idea what they were actually talking about and just wanted to get rid of you. Overall, they clearly lack any training and any just…normal common sense. They did not seem to understand a simple request for "more towels." I had to track down the actual cleaning cart and ask (and they were super nice and did it ASAP) because front desk couldn't seem to get my request fulfilled. In fact, they seemed perplexed by what a "towel" was (similarly, another guest asked for a good brunch recommendation and the woman behind the counter did not know what brunch meant!). Honestly, their complete lack of knowledge about the hotel, its amenities, the neighborhood, places to eat, public transportation, etc., was ASTOUNDING. As an IHG platinum rewards member, I got an email prior to arrival, listing a number of benefits/things that were included in the extra amenities fee. When I asked about them at the front desk, they had no idea what any of them meant. For example, they did not seem to know what either the $25 Bodega Credit or the $10 Raid the Minibar credit were, or how they could be used – they finally just told me they were the same thing and didn't apply to me anyway -- both untrue statements. (In any event, using these credits would have been impossible given that (1) their "Bodega" is literally a basket of chips and a minibar with like 6 bottles of water in it, that they don't refill and (2) there IS no mini bar in the rooms). The so-called “adjacent” restaurant, MEST, is not in fact adjacent but outside, down a dirty alley (there was a random pair of filthy men’s underwear lying on the steps to the restaurant) and half the time the staff was saying to go there for lunch, the restaurant was actually closed. Similarly, they say you can order "room service" but that is actually having food from that "adjacent" restaurant delivered to the lobby (which is not room service, guys; it's basically just, um, Grubhub). But that would have been fine, if it were actually possible. After 6 attempts to call the restaurant, I asked the front desk and was told "oh yeah sometimes they don't answer so you can't order. That's on them, not me". I don't care if you don't have room service. But if you don't have it, DON'T TELL YOUR GUESTS YOU DO. So many promises on the website that are not at all true. Don’t stay here. You can find cleaner, with better amenities, for cheaper. This place does not deserve your money. Front desk
