My husband and I decided to hit the city this year for NYE. We decided to go with the Kimpton Nine Zero, and it was definitely a great decision. From the moment we pulled up to the valet, the staff was warm and inviting. At check-in we used the special code (Be a Kimpton Rewards Member and check their facebook!)...

This lovely hotel is located across the street from one of the big stops on Boston's Freedom Trail, The Old Granary Burying Ground. It is also very close to many other spots you'd want to visit in Boston. It is well-located near the Park Street T station, the Boston Common and the Massachusetts State House. The room we stayed in...

I'm a big Kimpton fan and have stayed at this hotel before. Stayed in room 1703, which is a queen with a window facing Tremont. It overlooks cemetery and is just steps front the common. North End is a 15-minute walk. Check in and check out was a breeze. Front desk and concierge wonderful. Nice touches included lemon water in...

Drove into the city, only to find the roads were blocked off. Called the hotel for help and Lizzie the concierge got on the phone and talked us in...if you have ever driven in Boston you know this is no small task. Valet was great, check in a breeze. Room was on the top floor and perfect in every way....

I stay a lot at hotels and there's a lot to like about this one. I arrived rather early for a weekend getaway with my wife and was pleasantly surprised to be able to get into a room at noon-well ahead of the normal check in time. My visit really started out on a high note by the extremely warm...

I stayed at this hotel the year prior and reached out to the Front Office Manager to let him know I would be back along with a number of colleagues. He was responsive and personable and truly epitomizes what great guest services are all about. When I checked in he came out to say hello and make sure everything was...

I stayed here two nights as part of a group reservation. I've found the service attitudes of all hotel personnel I came across good to excellent. However, this boutique hotel, which looks to be a renovated old brick building needs to upgrade its core infrastructure- such as its plumbing & electrical installations in order to win me back & other...

I travel to Boston on business often and the Kimpton Nine Zero is my go-to. It's in a great location (across the street from the Granary Burial Grounds and the Boston Common). The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Rooms are nice and spacious and often offer beautiful views of the city. Perfect place to unwind after a long day.

I stayed here in November 2016 and will definitely be back. The hotel is lovely and the staff was warm and friendly. I arrived early on a Sunday afternoon and they stored my bags for me and then gave me a map and marked off all the "must see's" within walking distance. They even recommended that I skip the tourist...

We stayed at this hotel after attending a concert at the Orpheum. The rooms were clean and good sized. Robes were a bit "stiff". After the concert, we came back to the room to a nice treat of cupcakes and water. We did visit the club/bar upstairs but learned that we are too old for that crowed ;-) I do...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
