Right downtown and accessible to everything, hotel was very clean and staff very friendly upon arrival. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast on site was excellent! Would definitely stay again as the hotel is managed very well and it is evident staff has been well trained.
Excellent hotel with a great location! Grand and luxurious, the inside is clean and modern and smells amazing. The mixed metal and eclectic furnishings are stunning. We had a room on the 6th floor with excellent city and ocean views. Our bed and linens were also super comfortable and clean. Staff was top notch as well. Something to note, check in is at 4:00, so keep that in mind so your not disappointed and rude to the front desk staff. They also upgraded our room, which was great. The restaurant served breakfast and everything we had was excellent. We will be back just for the breakfast, it was that good. We loved being able to walk to Rose Kennedy Garden, the North End, and Faneuil Hall. It was so easy to jump on public transportation to get everywhere—really, such a great location!…
Super stylish hotel, great location (walking distance to everything), unbelievably comfortable bed! Room was sparkling clean every day-thank you Zully! What a great space to come back to every day. I’ll definitely be back!
Such a nice hotel and great service! I really enjoyed the room that I stayed in and the view of the city it offered. There were many accommodations and the staff was incredible! Thanks for a great stay.
We stayed at the Canopy this past weekend. Everything was beautiful and the staff friendly. You are in walking distance of the north end, quincy market and TD. We will definitely stay there again. However we had issues with the heat in our room. Though it was set at 72 our room got up to 80 degrees. We had to turn the AC on to cool it off. The second night was just as bad. We shut the air off while we explored quincy market. When we got back out room was up to 75 degrees. We tried to turn the AC back on but it wouldn't work. We were also woken up both nights by people singing in the hallways and in the morning discovered pizza had been thrown and left on the hall walls. We ate and drank at the rose. The calamari was amazing. Bartenders and manager both checked in often and gave us other local recommendations. The rose closes at 10:30 so if you are a night owl they will tell you where to go. Highly recommend. Will be back again, even with the odd heat/air issue.…
My Mom and I stayed at the Canopy by Hilton Boston Downtown for the first time last month (December 2022). It was our first major trip since before the pandemic, and also our first visit to Boston at the Christmas season. We cannot share enough positive comments about our experience at this wonderful hotel – our stay was made special from before we arrived all the way through checkout! This new hotel is absolutely beautiful and world-class, from the gorgeous colors and textures of the furnishings in the lobby, to the subtle nods to historic Boston found on the wall coverings and art, to the amazingly clean and well-appointed rooms (complete with Nespresso machines!). Its location is also central to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the Waterfront, and the North End, which was especially appealing and convenient! We’d like to give shout-outs to a couple of members of the Canopy front desk team: Maria was outstanding and tremendously helpful, even by way of a phone conversation prior to our arrival. She was patient in helping to answer the many questions we had in anticipation of our trip. Her kind assistance continued throughout our stay, as she offered thoughtful advice and information and made our stay very special! We’d also like to thank Elma, guest services manager, for her behind-the-scenes thoughtfulness as well. Every interaction we had with her was also very helpful, and her hospitality and genuineness did not go unnoticed! If we’re fortunate enough to be able to revisit Boston in the future, we have no doubt Canopy by Hilton Boston Downtown will be our go-to “home away from home” once again!…
This was our second time staying at the Canopy Boston Downtown. The rooms are nice and functional. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, which allowed us to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We walked to Little Italy every night for dinner. Housekeeping (Liliana) in the hotel did a great job cleaning our room everyday. The only flaws to our room was the bathroom door was a barn door style and kept rolling open when someone was in the bathroom. Also, the thermostat didn't control the room temperature well and the room was too warm at night.
Firstly, there are a lot of 5* reviews where the person has only made one contribution. When I was looking to stay, this caught my eye as when you move further back, those who contribute a lot were not (uniformly) in love with this hotel. I was skeptical but in the end, the hotel is very nice. The first thing to note is that the hotel is listed as being on Blackstone Street (the back part. of it is indeed there) but the entrance and where you need to leave the car is on John F Fitzgerald Surface Road. I don't know why the hotel does not fix this as Blackstone Road is often inaccessible to cars at the open markets are there. Even leaving that aside, you don't leave your car on that side of the hotel. Second, we did not encounter any negative attitudes by staff, in fact the opposite, so either the unfriendly front desk person has moved on or other. Whatever the case, the staff were lovely. I requested a quiet room having read the other reviews and we were given a room on the second floor (213 I think), it was indeed quiet and faced the side of the hotel. The rooms are nice (note that the now standard sliding bathroom door is again a feature in this hotel). Beds are comfortable, shower was very good and there was a coffee machine (with pods) and some cream left in the room. It also has a small fridge. The hotel is located in a very busy end of town, just on the edge of North End. Easy walking distance everywhere and if you arrive at North Station, you are a 5 min walk. We did go to the bar. It is not as nice as other Canopy places, but decent. All in all, if you can get a good rate, nice place to stay.…
Location is fantastic at this brand new hotel. It’s within walking distant of many great restaurants and Boston sights, like Faneuil Hall and the Aquarium. Even the walk to Downtown Crossing shopping and theaters is under a mile. Parking garage is right next door to the hotel.
The staff at this Canopy sets the bar very high for other hotels. They are fantastic! From the valet that helped up change a flat tire upon arrival, the front desk staff that checked us in and assisted us with a late checkout and the hospitality staff that were genuinely friendly whenever we saw someone in the hallways or public areas made our stay over Christmas weekend one of the best experiences we have had in a hotel in while. The hotel is in a perfect location in Boston, adjecent to Fanuel Hall, walking distance to the TDGarden and close to subways to get anywhere you want to go. Hotel is new and tastefully decorated. Rooms are great, beds comfy and the bathroom are supplied with shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Only note I would point out is our gps sent us around the back of hotel - we should have just stayed straight ahead to hotel entrance.…
