It did not matter that it was in the middle of December and an earlier snow storm came two days ago, reception warmly greeted us and lead us to our ‘adjoining’ rooms without any hassle.

The room had this great view of the Carol Lynch Gardens which was covered all white! The rooms were kept clean and tidy our entire stay. The space was big for a room that they could have placed a lounge chair or a small sectional.
There was space for your luggage (albeit a bit high) and an abundance of clothes hangers on the open closet. The T&B was also clean and sanitized all throughout our stay; water pressure and temperature were all right too. However, I kept hitting the knob for water pressure and temp, but that’s me.

All of the staff had smiles on their faces and were eager to help with any request, from the Reception, Housekeeping and to the team at ROSE Kitchen, although I did not get all of their names, but Peter was a stand-out! Nevertheless, they made the stay even more special, kudos.

Food was also great! Breakfast choices were varied and the cooked food was nourishing. One odd observation was that, the tomatoes they served tasted like tomatoes from my home country, a bit different from tomatoes we tasted all around Boston.

The location of the hotel, chef’s kiss. It was walking distances to the North End, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, Union Oyster House, Bell in Hand, Rowes Wharf, City Hall, TD Garden and much more!

We did encounter a small hiccup though on check-out regarding the credit for breakfast. We did not know where the mix-up was during check-out but not all our daily credits were honored. Upon reaching back home, some 30-hours later, we did find an e-mail that it was properly sorted.

Overall, Canopy line of Hilton is starting to grow on us. It has this chic vibe that is still rooted in the basics for guest comfort and experience. Given the location of this property and the service we witnessed, this will be our go-to hotel in Boston.

We love Boston, but this trip was stellar because of the AMAZING staff at the Hilton Canopy! First of all, every single person from the Valet to Check-In to Housekeeping greeted us with smiles day and night. Shout out to Diamond, Mickey, and the crew! You could not find a better, friendlier, more competent staff anywhere! We have stayed at Four Seasons and Luxury Collections, and this staff ranks right up there. (side note: someone was cleaning something every minute of the day). The rooms are beyond spacious and impeccably kept and immaculately clean. Obviously, you go to the North End for food, and we had reservations, but we hit Boston on a long holiday weekend and after dinner, it was impossible to get desserts, coffee or after-dinner drinks without waiting in line, so we went back to the Hilton and went to The ROSE restaurant --this place is a gem because it is spacious, warm and relaxed. The menu is smart and straightforward, with excellent cocktails and delicious desserts. Again, the staff was amazing and welcoming! Julianna is the best! We went back all 3 nights. Kudos to the Management team, too. We were two couples, and all four agreed it was one of the best hotel experiences ever.

This was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. This hotel is located perfectly to access all that Boston has to offer. Nearly everything we wanted to see it was within a 5-10 minute walk.

The hotel is very modern and the rooms very well equipped. The spacious bathrooms included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and even lotion. Each floor had a nugget ice machine along with filtered water. It was a refreshing treat after a day of walking.

We found the staff very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, our room safe was not working. The front desk staff sent someone almost immediately to fix it and the maintenance person left us a milk, chocolate hammer, and a small card, letting us know that our maintenance request had been fulfilled. It was a very cute touch!

We did not have a chance to eat in the Rose restaurant, but we did spend some time at the bar and enjoyed our interactions with the bartender immensely.

We highly recommend this hotel. Five stars.

Would rate overall visit as the epitome of “just ok”. Location cannot be beat, perfectly nestled in between downtown and north end. Parking rates were extortionate, even for Boston. Rooms were small but functional. Decor — bold geometric carpet contrasting colonial wallpaper— literally made me dizzy, but that’s admittedly matter of taste.

Be very careful of room category you select. Would imagine rooms facing north end were nice, but no one will tell you “standard” rooms were grim views of back alleys and loud backstage of market.

Biggest issue was zero plusses to being Diamond status beyond $18 food credit, which will get you a coffee and bagel at this hotel. No upgrades, no personal attention from management. Other Hilton properties bend over backwards to check in on Diamond members, this hotel didn’t even respond to texts for hours after checkout.

Hi Pioneer751431, thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to read you were disappointed with your room size and view. Being in the heart of downtown, we are surrounded by activity, and the market you referenced is the country's oldest open air market, operating in that very spot for almost 300 years - how cool! We offer valet parking at nightly rates similar to our neighboring hotels. We do our best to upgrade Diamond guests, however this is based upon availability. Additional Diamond member benefits include the Food and Drink credit as mentioned, complimentary late check outs when available, complimentary bottled water, and premium wifi. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you in the future.

Great new hotel with clean and nicely decorated property with clean rooms and bathrooms. I loved my corner suite and honestly despite location they did a great job with soundproofing with windows and drapery. If you don’t like the hustle and bustle of Boston tourist area, don’t recommend this hotel. I loved the comfortable beds and to me was highlight of stay after a long day of visiting Boston.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this new hotel which opened in 2022 in the downtown Boston area, close to the major tourist sites like Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market. It is close to the Haymarket and Government Center T stops although the Haymarket station was closed for renovations during our stay.

We had a king size room which overlooked the Union Oyster restaurant sign. It's not very picturesque but we're being nitpicky. The bathroom was large and all the fixtures were new and done in bronze. The water pressure was steady and strong. The bed was comfortable and afforded us a good night's sleep. You can adjust the room temperature with the wall thermostat. The decor and furnishings are minimalist modern.

The hotel restaurant is called the Rose Tavern and we had breakfast there. The pricing is on the high side but that's what you get for convenience.

We did notice that during the day, there is usually a line of people waiting to check in and out and there were only two persons at the reception desk. Also, the person who checked us in forgot to give us the QR code for self-parking and we ended up paying the garage directly instead. It's $50 for self-parking with unlimited in and out privileges at a local public garage a few blocks away. Since we didn't get the QR code, we paid the garage every time we entered and left. It costs about $42 and change to do that. They also offer valet parking at a higher price.

I would return to this hotel again for staying in the downtown area.

This was my second consecutive year staying at the Canopy in Boston, and I’m so glad I chose to return. The experience was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the fantastic team that goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

One standout staff member, Trevon, was still here—a testament to his dedication and perhaps the satisfaction of working at this property. Trevon was incredibly kind and welcoming at check-in, taking the time to recommend activities in the area and adding a personal touch by sending a handwritten birthday note to my room. That thoughtful gesture truly made my stay feel special and appreciated.

The room was just as lovely as I remembered—modern, cute, and well-decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Last year, I stayed in a two-bedroom suite that included a chaise lounge, which I loved. Unfortunately, the king room didn’t have that option, but it was still a delightful space to unwind.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar are equally impressive—cozy yet elegant, with delicious food that complements the overall vibe. The location couldn’t be better, situated near Faneuil Hall, Little Italy, and historic sites, not to mention the nearby TD Garden and iconic eateries like the Oyster House.

I also want to give a special shoutout to Ashley and Hauns. After a late night out, they greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Both were so friendly and even joined in celebrating my birthday, adding to the overall sense of hospitality this hotel exudes.

From the thoughtful staff to the ideal location, this stay was unforgettable. Canopy Boston has earned my highest recommendation—I can’t wait to return again next year!

This sparkling hotel is ideally situated right behind the Haymarket, across the road from the North End, with a less than 10 minute walk to Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the Old State House and the Boston Visitors Center. Convenient connections to T services. The hotel is superb with spotless accommodations. Trayvon at the Front Desk is a treasure, a source of hospitality and outstanding restaurant recommendations that only a local can provide. Looking forward to return visits.

A few days before our trip, I spoke to Diamond at the front desk to inform her it was my husband’s 60th birthday. And if there was anything that the hotel would do for such an event. She said she would take care of it and made a note of it on our profile. I also asked her what type of hair dryer was in the room. I have curly hair and it’s possible I might need to just bring my portable diffuser instead of my hairdryer. She left me on a quick hold while she inquired. She informed me it was Baby Bliss which made me very happy because I knew that my diffuser would fit. Upon our arrival we were cheerfully greeted by Kenny and he gave us some great tips about the area. We went to our room which it was decorated with a balloon, and a happy birthday photo frame. The hotel is bright, modern with a touch of old Boston. It is close to Quincy market the North End and the Seaport. For me, it’s important to explore the city by day and enjoy the restaurants/cafe at night. So it needed to be walkable to those type of locations at night. This hotel hit the spot! The room was nice. Every floor had a filtered water and ice machine . The rooms have an old fashioned glass bottle which you would use to fill your water. There was a Nespresso machine which they filled daily with 3 different levels of strength, coffee mates, sugars etc. I requested a robe because I remember reading the hotel had them for their guest. I did see they have slippers, but I didn’t request them. It seems you need to request the extra perks, but they were not automatically in your room. That was quite annoying since I had difficulty communicating with the housekeeping staff due to a language barrier. But all in all it was fine. I really liked the shower. It had a hand held wand, and an overhead shower. There were two pelotons in the gym. Some nice equipment too. If I decide to come to this area again, I will definitely book the same hotel.

Canopy Boston has a great space. Unfortunately, the unauthorized charges to my room left a bad taste in my mouth. Something I noticed was when I checked in there was a couple I remember checking out who made a complaint about charges made to their room of meals they never had from the hotels restaurant. Unfortunately , after I checked out there was also a charge made to my room for a meal that I never had from the hotels restaurant. As a matter of fact, I had no meals at the hotel and no charges as well. Front desk said I would be reimbursed but that has not happened. I called to tell them and they said I need to talk to finance. Now I am chasing after the hotel for my money? Beware it appears easy for folks to charge meals to other people’s rooms without staff verifying if the one making the charges is the one holding the room. Very frustrating and it took away from the vacation I had.

I can see that the error was fixed and the full amount refunded on the day of your departure.
