Had great conversation with Kevin Brown from Embassy Suites / Hilton Grand..bought a travel package. Kevin was very personable and very helpful and informative. Great job Kevin thanks very much. Shout out to Derek on the front desk as well for all his help!
Recently stayed at the Embassy Boston Airport . The hotel and room were very clean. Hot breakfast included and there is a large lobby area for seating. It would have been nice to have bottled water offered in the morning. All hotel employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Some rooms with [distant] city view. The hotel provided 24 hr shuttle service to/from BOS airport. If driving there is limited parking, additional charges, at the hotel. I believe the parking is valet only. We hired a car prior to visiting Boston and dropped it at the Boston Airport car rental facility. From the car rental facility it’s a short, maybe 5-Minute walk to the hotel. Very easy, just around the corner. It would be equally easy to rent a car for a day trip from the hotel. The metro is a safe, short walk across a public park, 5-minutes. This is the Airport Station (Blue Line) and is two stops to downtown Aquarium Station, three stops to State Street station, so it was very easy getting into the city. Cost each way $2.40 unless you have a student or senior card. At the Airport Station, the metro rep was handing out free loadable metro cards. Once preloaded we could travel without purchasing a ticket each time. Very easy to connect, without additional charges, to other line to get to other parts of the city. There is not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but we walked about 20 minutes to find good cafe style restaurants and a couple of groceries. Most in the vicinity of Maverick Station. Although this hotel is removed from downtown, it is much more affordable with quick city access. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Boston.…
Hotel is conveniently located near to the airport. The shuttle services is excellent, and the drivers friendly. Josphina who works in Porter Bar & Grill was friendly, and helpful, and offered excellent suggestions on what to do while visiting. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Will definitely NOT be my last time staying here.
Ranalda with HGV was amazing! The entire staff was friendly and courteous. Traveling with an infant is stressful enough but they made it as easy as possible. Airport shuttle is great and they even checked us in early.
The hotel was located within walking distance to the Boston Subway and easily accessed by the airport. The hotel staff helped out giving us direction where we could watch the 4th of July fireworks without having to go downtown. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. This hotel was not the usual Embassy Suites that I have experienced as there was not the usual evening reception but there were snacks.
Checkin was fine. Found it odd that Hilton rewards members received 2 bottles of water for the whole stay , would have thought we would get a bit more than that? Maybe a couple bottles for each day we stay?
This Embassy is located close to Boston Logan. The rooms include studios which if you are used to the more traditional ES rooms are small. The Manager's reception did not serve any alcohol as is typical at ES. No real explanation given. The breakfast was OK, but not the best.
We stayed one night in October 2022 and had a nice room ... and the price was right. The location near the airport is convenient if you wish to stay near Logan, and the shuttle was a short, easy ride to and from the terminal. The location makes it less ideal for sight-seeing or visiting the downtown area, but the T Line is available nearby if you choose to travel that way. We appreciated the coffee shop/restaurant/bar located on the first floor.
This lodging experience was the most disappointing of my life. I am a retired management consultant who has traveled world-wide for more than 45 years. My partner and I arrived 10/15/22 at about 1PM with 2 suitcases and several small carry-on bags. Room 1020 is the smallest hotel room I have ever entered. I cleared off the small desk so my partner could open her bag. I had to place my bag on the bed… there was no room on the floor for an open suitcase. With my Hilton Honors credential this tiny room was priced at $437.01 plus $71.90 in taxes. I spent about 20 minutes trying to access the internet. I was given the WiFi password at check-in, but the system never prompted me for it. I used the internet briefly about 3 times during our 10 hour stay. Only after checking out in the morning did I realize that I was being charged $9.95 for “Internet Access”. We visited the “Swing Bar” once at about 5:15PM and ordered 2 glasses of wine. The man who served us may be the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered. The complimentary crackers and fruit we found across the room were nice, but 90% of the empty tables and chairs in the empty dining room were “Reserved”. We found a large round table with a dirty tablecloth which was not reserved. On the “plus” side… The bathroom and shower in room #1020 were very nice… but not $520 nice. …
