Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, highlighted by its clean and spacious rooms, despite some dated furnishings. While the hotel's cleanliness earns high marks, with spotless rooms often mentioned, guests have voiced concerns over noise and maintenance in their accommodations.
The complimentary shuttle service is a hit among travelers, although experiences with breakfast and valet services receive mixed reviews. The proximity to the airport is widely appreciated, yet the value proposition of the hotel is questioned, with guests pointing out occasional overcharging and inconsistent rates.

Our family of 3 stayed here 3 night in mid August. All the city hotels were extremely expensive with many colleges families moving in, so we decided to stay near the airport. Property and food were as expected, though we only had breakfast and reception and did not make any additional purchases. Our room had a bathroom that had access from the living area and bedroom, which was convenient. Hotel shuttle is available at all hours, but we figured out that it is faster to get to the metro station to walk across the adjacent field, since the metro station at the airport is the last stop for the hotel shuttle bus. There is also a public bus, specifically the SL1 bus that will take you from the airport into the city for free. We did not have to rent a car, but the rental car center is across the street from the hotel.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I’ve been traveling to Boston every 3-4 months for 4 or so days on each occasion. I’d grown tired of grossly over paying for premium brand hotels of typically average to poor quality, run down rooms or in locations with poor connections and mediocre Uber coverage. This hotel was next on my list to try. What a difference!
My room was one of the suites. Unlike downtown, it was actually large! The room, though not new, was well maintained and scrupulously clean. The reception staff were efficient, housekeeping was the same and super friendly.
Breakfast looked average, but I only breezed through. They did have an eggs to order section, but I didn’t try. The restaurant was operational, its food average to good in terms of quality and price, and the bar staff mostly very friendly.
The gym was a bit tired but ok. The self laundry was reasonably priced.
The location is superb. The metro is 5 min walk away and then 2 stops later you’re in the heart of downtown by the waterfront. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport that runs every 20 mins and takes only 5 mins. There’s a small park opposite for children to blow off steam or to jog around. Small corner shops and several local pubs and restaurants are a 5-8 min walk through quiet neighborhoods.
I’ll be staying here again for work and it will be a great base for the faintly to explore Boston from.

We spent three nights at the Embassy. I had stayed here previously and was pleased with it. This time I was less impressed. In terms of POSITIVE aspects: 1) The hotel is a five minute shuttle drive from the airport. 2) There is a regular hotel shuttle bus that stops at the airport terminals, helps load the luggage and delivers to the front door of the hotel. 3) The dinner offerings served at the hotel were very good and reasonably priced. 4) The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. 5) A short walk through a park leads to the Boston Metro Blue line that takes a person into town.
In terms of NEGATIVE aspects: 1) The front desk representative was not well trained. It took a very long time to get two rooms with lack of clarity on why we had to wait. When she went on her break, I went back up and incredibly both rooms were ready to go. 2) Breakfast my previous trip was very good, this time, it was not very good. After the first 30 minutes everything was picked over and nothing was replaced. As well, it can get very crowded at Breakfast and waiting for the elevators. 3) Housekeeping was inconsistent. For one room, it was impeccable with fresh water, coffee and tea supplies replenished and a chocolate. In the second room, no water replaced, no cream for the coffee replaced.
Overall, it was ok. It was not as good as my previous time, and yet for those that need accommodations near the airport it is fine. In the future I will likely stay at the Hilton which is connected to the airport itself rather than the Embassy.

Carrie Anne and Karen Mantilla has been an inspiration for customer care, as my flight was canceled. The hospitality was incredible, and I couldn’t ask for a better host. Although I had never been to the establishment before, they took the time to explain their process in detail, ensuring that I understood everything.
The hotel exhibits exceptional cleanliness and meticulous maintenance. The bedroom provided was particularly impressive and comfortable. Upon inspecting the room for any signs of dust, I was pleasantly surprised to find none so I would give credit to the cleaning staff of their part.
Another notable observation I made was the presence of a personalized welcome message displayed on the television screen, featuring my name. This was an unprecedented experience that left a lasting impression on me.
In conclusion, another noteworthy aspect of the hotel is the exceptional service provided by the valet team. They were not only courteous but also highly helpful. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary service that allows guests to store their luggage at the hotel during their daytime excursions in Boston. This service is a valuable addition to the hotel’s offerings and demonstrates its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

On May 22 we had flight delays at LHR and were rerouted through BOS arriving at about 2200. We tried checking in at the Hilton Airport but they were full so they arranged a room for us at this hotel and got their shuttle to pick us up. At check-in we found the room charge would be $549 plus taxes. We thought that this rate was extremely high but since we were very tired having been up over 24 hours, my wife was not feeling well and booked on an 0700 flight in the morning we took the room as British Airways was picking up the charge. Checking out at 0430 the total bill was $639.32 ($549 + $90.32 taxes) or $105.39 per hour. We did not take advantage of the breakfast or happy hour. Upon getting home we looked up the standard room rates published for this hotel and found them to range from $328 to $377 per night. We called the hotel and corporate to discuss getting us and British Airways an adjustment to the unusual charges but were told very bluntly by both that since we had checked in so late and without reservations that they could charge whatever they wanted and that we had had the option not to take the room and go somewhere else and we didn't elect that option so the charges stand. We have traveled the world for the last 50 years (110 countries) and have had experiences like this many times but have never had a hotel inflate room charges as this one did. It has been our experience that when rooms are available the rate is never higher than the published rates and many times lower as the hotel is glad to get some revenue for an unused room for that night. So, use caution booking this hotel and check the room rates you are quoted to ensure that they are not being inflated. We will not be booking any rooms at an Embassy Suites in the future and will take a hard look at future bookings with the parent company Hilton.

Because of it's title as an 'airport hotel', the great location of this property is actually underappreciated. Not only convenient to the airport, it's also only a 5 minute walk through a park to the MBTA Blue line for a quick 2 - 3 stop trip into downtown. Now there is also a ferry 20 minutes walk away for a waterborne trip alternative. The park is great for those with little ones as it has a very nice playground. The nearby East Boston neighborhood (about 10 - 15 minutes walk) has Boston's oldest pizzeria, and other good inexpensive family friendly food options. Don't expect gourmet. Go downtown for that. The rooms are large and one is great for a family of 4 - 5. Parents, the door to the bedroom does not lock. Breakfast is very good and goes late enough to accommodate those on vacation, not work. There is a Starbucks open during the day in the lobby and a bar and restaurant if you don't want to go out. The staff were all courteous and helpful. The shuttle is good, but double the hotel's estimated pick up times to manage your expectations. We'd definitely consider it again if we're in the area.

My email to guest services: Just a few things. When we got to checkin last night, front desk staff were talking amoung themselves. I waited at the counter, put all my bags, suitcases down and then the guy said "oh, I will take you down here". Making me reload up and move my stuff. I commented "why didn't you say that before I sat everything down?" I got a "sorry along with a giggle. We drove a rental car to the hotel, the parking lot guy was so rude continuously telling me to hurry and move my vehicle. I had to have my family take my belongings up to the room so i could move the rental car before returning it to the airport. The parking guy made me move it twice and was not kind. Room was adequate. Older finishings, pull out sofa was horrible and there's no way an adult could comfortably sleep on it. 6am this morning, staff, assuming housekeeping were yelling back and forth to each other. This woke my son up who looked out the door to confirm it was staff. At checkout, I again walked up to the desk and staff just ignored me when I asked about checking out. Finally I was acknowledged and told to "just drop my key". There was no thanks for staying at $400 plus a night or nothing. Finally, the shuttle arrives. The driver disappeared. We waited, finally loaded our own bags into the shuttle and continued to wait for an additional nearly 20 mins on the running shuttle with no driver. He finally comes back, hops on asks what airline and off we go. Again, no acknowledgement or good morning from staff, rude.
I think your team needs to work on customer service skills. Feeling like a bother when you're paying such a high nightly accommodation fee it ridiculous. We will not be back and also will make sure I share my experience with others

Stayed three nights during a business conference. As a Diamond member, I appreciated being "upgraded" to a room on the top (10th) floor, but the rest of this stay was not so great. Normally, Diamonds receive snacks on arrival, but none were offered. I didn't mind that so much, but several other minor things add up to lower stars…
The breakfast was terrible for an Embassy Suites. While others I've stayed at still (or restarted) omelet or other "made to order" breakfast items, the only options here was a buffet with overcooked bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes that were like cardboard, and bagels. They didn't even have any bread items other than plain bagels. (Why not at least plain bread for toast, if not muffins, etc.?!!) The coffee was AWFUL. There were no pepper packets, just one pepper shaker by the buffet. Oh, and for those "cardboard pancakes" I did try my first morning there, well forget trying to get a little cup of syrup… none available so you have to try and get your plate under the coffee dispenser they are using for "hot syrup" (although it wasn't even hot!) to try and dispense it from there. I've had WAY better breakfasts at Hampton Inns prefab breakfasts!! What made it all the worse is that there is a little coffee stand next to the breakfast are SELLING Starbucks coffee and… yes, very good looking muffins and other pastry items like what SHOULD have been a part of the Embassy Suites buffett section. I suppose they must not be making enough from their still high room prices to support a true breakfast, so they have resorted to selling the "best" breakfast off to the side!!!
In the room, the bed was the hardest I've ever experienced at an Embassy Suites. There were no plastic cups available for the room, so the paper coffee cups are the only cups available for water. Nice that they left 4 bath towels, but why then only 2 washcloths? (Doesn't housekeeping understand "sets"?) The room did at least seem clean.
I definitely won't be staying at this Embassy Suites again and would not recommend it. There are FAR better options nearby. I'm still giving it 3 stars for the room size, cleanliness, and at least having a bar open (although I did not try that.)

We appreciate you taking the time to share your honest feedback. It's disheartening your stay with us was disappointing. We strive for quality so it's unfortunate that our breakfast services were lacking and the bedding in your room didn't meet your expectations. We also regret that our extra amenities were less than ideal. The type of experience that you're describing is not up to par with the usual top notch standards that we're used to providing. Not a bad stay, but not a "typical" Embassy Suites experience for assorted reasons.
The good: the hotel itself is in good shape. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. What I had of the breakfast food was good (more on that later).
The "alright": the hotel isn't terribly close to much (other than the airport!) but it's an easy walk to the Airport T station, so you're really not far from a cheap trip to explore most of the rest of Boston.
The disappointing but not their fault: it's not the common Embassy Suites evening reception as Massachusetts law keeps them from serving free alcoholic drinks. The snacks were a bit higher quality than what I've seen at other Embassy Suites which may have been their way of trying to even that out a bit. But I've always seen Embassy Suites rates as a premium because of what's included; the missing drinks reduce any value proposition here.
The disappointing: my room was not a "suite"; again, something that hurts the value here. More like a slightly larger than average room with a hallway from the door.
The not good: whoever was supposed to be staffing the "made-to-order" station at breakfast was missing in action for at least five minutes around 8 AM...a reasonably busy time. Didn't have time to wait...this IS an airport hotel after all. Again, missing part of what one expects from an Embassy Suites.
Some of this is fixable, some isn't. Convenience to the airport and the rental car center is huge, but as it stands now there might be better value at other airport hotels.
