Room was just as others described-old and tired with worn carpet and furnishings. However, the bed was clean and the shower worked well. Hotel staff were helpful and the location was good. It was 1 block from Copley Square, Trinity Church and the public library.

I was really worried about staying here after my PA booked it last minute for a weekend trip, as the reviews weren't great. My Uber driver even said she would wait outside incase I needed to go somewhere else... I arrived very late on a Friday night and it reminded me of an old Hollywood hotel from Disneyland. Dated but...

This hotel is in a great location in Back Bay, near Trinity Church, less than 5 minute walk from orange and green T stops. It's an old men's club, and the lobby shows this old school elegance. Our two bed room was actually quite large, the bathroom was a little tight though. The room and all the fixtures, etc. we're...

Should be condemned as a health risk to employees and guests. No heat, dirty floors/carpets, black mold, paint peeling with airborne paint particles, carpet in one room (I changed from a horrid room to a merely unsafe room) stuck to my sox, rude staff treated me like I was at fault for not wanting a environmentally unsafe room. I think...

Nice place to stay. Great location. The only bad point was that the hotel is a bit cold and does not have its name on the top of the building. Hard to be found by the drivers. Otherwise I liked it. Leila

The hotel is in a great location, close to the T, Copley Square and many attractions. We arrived in Boston at 12:30. We went to the hotel to drop our luggage off. When we arrived at the reception desk, the receptionist was helping another patron. She looked round him to us and said,"You aren't checking in already are you? It's...

Stayed here over the weekend with my girlfriend on our visit to Boston in April. I would highly not recommend this place. We booked a room through Amoma’s website, pre-paying for $168.15, and it was completely not worth it. Upon arriving at the hotel, the check-in process was fine, but we were shocked at how terrible the room was. We...

Room was ok, nothing special. Bathroom was dirty and beds are rock hard but the worst thing is they only have air or heat and once they change it over, you cant get the other. By 4/22, they already are on air, and it's only 44 degrees here. My room is freezing!

The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful although not over friendly. The bathroom like most of the hotels we stayed in could do with a bit of TLC but at least it was warm. The computers and printers were easy to use and free which we appreciated as we needed to log in a few times....

Very clean, very nice room. Enough room for four people (2 per bed). Great view of the surround area and very close to Fenway park. Overall we were very happy with the hotel. They have a gorgeous lobby and the staff was very friendly!

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
