I spent the week here for business and it happened to be my husband and my 5th wedding anniversary. The staff took care of my colleagues and I amazingly and the concierge Eileen even helped make my anniversary special by surprising me with wine and chocolate, per my husband's request! The location is wonderful, whether you want to walk, take...

1. Great location, nice retreat from Copley plaza, right next to the habor, as you can see from the pictures, it is nice over the summer. 2. Got upgrade to a one bedroom suite with Marriott Platinum status, big room, good value compare with what you get from Courtyard and Marriott. 3. I had a suite for 2 weeks, and everything was great. With fully equipped kitchen, seating area, laundry room and my floor, there was nothing I could miss. Staff was very kind and helpful. A plus is the great complimentary breakfast. Downtown Boston is just 10 mins walk across the bridge, TD garden very close. Enjoyed my stay.

Very good breakfast. They also had hamburgers the evening before. Everyone was very helpful. The room was clean and the view of the harbor with downtown Boston in the background was really nice. You can walk across the bridge to downtown Boston.

My daughter and I came into town to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The hotel is such a short walk to the Garden. While the weather was horrible, the hotel was clean and easy to get in and out of. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here with our 2 young children to take them to a Celtics game (10min walk). The location is good, there is an indoor pool which was small and packed. The lobby area is nice and we had a lovely breakfast (free) in the morning. After the game we got pizza and ate it at the tables in the lobby....

Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
