Stayed here with our 2 young children to take them to a Celtics game (10min walk). The location is good, there is an indoor pool which was small and packed. The lobby area is nice and we had a lovely breakfast (free) in the morning. After the game we got pizza and ate it at the tables in the lobby....

We visited for two nights to see the Islanders at Bruins on Martin Luther King Day. We had a beautiful two-bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. I had read the positive reviews before booking and they were spot on. This property is clean, convenient and well-run. It is a short walk to the TD Garden home of the Bruins and...

We spent 2 nights here right in the heart of Boston and loved it! The staff was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk staff: Lisa, Tiannah and Eric were so helpful and nice. My son and I stayed there as we had plans in Boston to celebrate his birthday. The staff was great and even sent a little birthday treat up to our room for my son! They told us exactly the best way to see all the sites, and made restaurant recommendations based on our circumstances. The rooms are clean, the hotel...

This location may seem out of the way, but it actually is a great location if you do not mind a little walking to catch the T. The location is quiet, has some nice neighborhood restaurants nearby, is a short walk to the Boston Garden and the T, and has some great views. I have been to Boston many times,...

Staying in Charlestown

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlestown
Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.
