Little gem of a hotel in an excellent location, clean rooms, with modern decor, large windows giving room lots of natural light, free strong WiFi, mini frig, magnifying mirror, bathrobes, plenty of outlets, and a very small gym (not surprising given size of hotel) with new equipment We liked this hotel better than large Marriott and Westin in Copley Place,...

I have once again decided to stay at the Courtyard in Copley Square on my recent trip to Boston, and as always I'm glad I did! The location is SO convenient and I love how it takes me 3 minutes to walk to my train. The rooms are really well kept with all of the essential amenities and the employees...

My wife and I were in need of a few nights away from our children and decided to take a weekend in Boston. We booked a room at the Courtyard by Marriott Copley Square and from the moment we stepped in the lobby we knew picked the right place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with dinner reservations and...

Hotel staff did an excellent job in communicating regarding our arrival and assisting in some room changes. Allison at the front desk was exceptional to work with. The director of housekeeping, Agnes, was very helpful in returning a left behind item. Room and facilities were clean. The only thing that could be improved on is if the Starbucks had a...

The general manager Bernardo [--] is rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel or ever use it at my company again. They do not honor their discounted prices, charges on card are false and would not reimburse due to his error. Charged twice for same room and would not reimburse the duplicate charge.

Dear peke1232015, Thank you for taking the time to contact the General Managers office yesterday. As we had previously explained and reconfirmed yesterday we have a 48 hour cancellation policy, unfortunately due to our strict corporate policy we are unable to cancel the reservation outside of the cancellation window. thank you for your understanding Justin McToal Assistant General Manager

The exercise room is a shoebox! Three pieces of exercise equipment. If you are Platinum Elite, do not expect to get a room upgrade, no free breakfast.. only a small cup of coffee. The best part of the hotel is a decent location in Boston.

I last reviewed this property in July 2015 and have since made 2 additional visits. Each time we enjoyed the same excellent service. Sometimes familiarity breeds contempt, but not with this hotel. General Manager Bernardo Gubert's staff outdid themselves in welcoming us and making sure all of our needs were met. Furthermore, it is truly comforting to walk into a...

Stayed here for a conference at the Westin across the street. Didn't have the fancy lobby or food and booze choices of the Westin, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, it didn't have the crowds, and it was relatively quiet (except for Saturday night street noise from the nightclub next door. Great location,...

Fantastic hotel - the staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Very centrally located easy access and easy walking distance to everything I needed. Being a female traveling alone it's nice to know they are watching out for me. I will stay there again!

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
