Stayed five nights here on a vacation, chose the hotel because of the location (close to everything in walking distance and also the "T") plus when I priced out hotels, they were one of the more reasonable ones that offered a free breakfast. We were...More

Beautiful restored hotel, has character with exposed brick and unique retro fit for rooms. Had top floor so was very quiet, read other reviews here regarding noise - did not have any issues with neighbors noise. The hotel is located in the heart of the...More

Thank you Clay for choosing the Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport and for taking a moment to share a review of your two-night pre-cruise experience. We were delighted to know that our well-appointed accommodations along with our inherent “industrial style” provided the perfect comfortable environment for...More
Nice decor and spacious rooms. Excellent location. The problem? Thin walls and apathetic staff. Also, the rate was extremely high for a hotel of this type ($650+ per night). How about investing a portion of the piles of money you charge in selecting better associates...More

This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning
deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
We walked to the aquarium and that was about 20 minutes. That was my limit. If you're in good shape and the weather is fine, it could be done. I would take into consideration the walk back. Will you be too tired by then... More
We walked to the aquarium and that was about 20 minutes. That was my limit. If you're in good shape and the weather is fine, it could be done. I would take into consideration the walk back. Will you be too tired by then? Will you have packages? Too full from a delicious meal?
