The hotel is in an excellent location and easily walkable from Back Bay station, even with suitcases. It is a modern hotel and set in an historic Boston Building. The surrounding area is great, including the finish line of the Boston Marathon, Copley Place, the Prudential Center and many historic buildings. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars to...

Excellent hotel sensational position good value and wonderful service in a great City . The rooms were large and attention to detail was high they do the little extra things other hotels don't such as a dark small towel for ladies as they take their makeup off at nights.

This hotel is coveniently located in the city close to a undergroud and train station. The rooms are ok. The is no bar inthe hotel. Unfortunately the bed a terrible. Every small move by one person can be felt by the other.

Hotel 140 is in a good location and it suits the need for leisure travelers. There is a public parking nearby the hotel which is good for a family traveling together. Staffs are friendly and provide efficient check in & check out service. Good value for money indeed.

The Hotel is well located and has all basic amenities, but the room did not have Shampoo and Conditioner but had a hair gel instead. No breakfast included, but there was a small restaurant. For the money I spent I think this hotel needs to offer more.

Hotel was about 2 blocks from a metro station that had links throughout the city. Rooms on the small side, but clean and quiet. Went in February when it was very cold, and unfortunately the city came to a standstill. Walking distance to a shopping centre with lots of food and shopping choices and walkable to the main city centre...

I was based there from about June 2016 to March 2017, about 9 months and the location and value was great. The Manager as well as all the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The building is very well maintained. The rooms are kept clean by a great cleaning staff. Linens and towels are always clean. They provide soaps, shampoo,...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
