We were here for a science fiction convention. He had negotiated for free wifi in the sleeping rooms; normally, there is a charge. There is minimalist eating facilities--an attached pub (M.J. O'Connor), a bar with reasonable but pricey food, and a breakfast/lunch facility. There are clusters of good restaurants about 1/2 away in Fort Point and across the turnpike near...

This is a nice spot for getting around seaport. I like the Starbucks in the lobby. On check in granted we were early there was only 1 person at the desk and only 1 couple in line in front of us. It took about 10 min before we were checked in. They did give us an upgrade to a higher...

2nd stay at this hotel. Its probably more suited to business travel but more than satisfactory option for leisure travellers. The lobby is large and open with the only downside being the bar is effectively in the foyer and so not particularly intimate or inviting. The rooms are very well appointed and spacious plus modern. I was there at a...

Thank you for your review, and for your continued business. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay and found the rooms and lobby to be spacious and welcoming. I do apologize for the busyness in the breakfast restaurant. As you mentioned, we cater to many convention-goers, but also are located in a great spot and enjoy welcoming leisure travelers, so your...

I was quite excited about my first stay in a Westin, but unfortunately it didn't meet the expectations. We got a good price but the room looked dated and had the probably worst view in the entire hotel. The receptionist also forgot to mention that we had been assigned a disabled room, which meant ducking and diving under the shower...

Stayed at the Weston for the weekend to catch up with a friend. Had a blast. The comedy club attached to the hotel. Laugh Boston was great super easy for a fun night. The staff were helpful with any questions about the surrounding area and mad our stay easy.

In Boston for a meeting at the convention center, very comfortable room, bed, and amenities. Professional friendly staff, clean rooms and hotel areas. Very convenient if attending meetings at BCEC. Great restaurants in the area if want to get out of hotel, all within walking distance.

I've been staying here annually and really enjoy a lot about this hotel. While I don't complain often, I have noticed two things this year. The decor is in need of a little burst of fresh style, that's a small complaint. Secondly, is that I don't like housekeeping to come in unless requested. Today I came back after leaving the...

We attended a conference and use The Westin because of location primarily. But we are never disappointed in service from the valet, to bellhop, checkin, and chambermaids. They are all accommodating and polite. Rooms are a generous size for a city, they are always clean, and our needs are always met. The bathrooms are great with a rain shower head...

The only reason to stay at the Westin Waterfront is its proximity to the BCEC. In fact, it is the only hotel directly connected to the convention center, making it very convenient if you are attending a meeting there. Otherwise, it is too far from sights, restaurants and nightlife to make it worthwhile. We have been attending a professional meeting...

I've stayed here several times while snowed in at work, the most recent being the January 2015 blizzard. The rooms are pretty nice, fairly spacious. Bathroom has a nice rainwater shower. Neighbourhood Profile
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
