We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our recent stay in Boston, we travelled with our 3 year old for medical, and at all times the staff could not have been more accommodating- we were warmly welcomed at check in by Maxx - and from then on we felt humbled by the attentive service - the recent renovations and upgrades have brought this already modern property back with a clean fresh vibe - thoroughly recommend this intercontinental hotel within walking distance of the tea party and children’s museum - overall a stellar experience at this hotel.

I arrived at the location and realised that I had left my phone, whose casing also had my credit cards, in the Uber. The Uber had already gone. So having come in from Australia, I would have been completely stuffed with no ability to pay - even for my hotel room. I really needed my phone for all kinds of reasons. In a panic I asked for help from the front desk. This is the when I saw try extraordinary service kick in. They tried to login into Uber but with two factor authentication which requires your phone, that was a no go. Next was FindmyPhone. But I needed internet access which required a credit card to operate in the Business Centre. This is when Harold used his own personal credit card to sign me in! Then Francesca who was finishing her shift stayed with me for a good 90mins while we tracked the movements of my phone. She also put in the phone number for the driver to call in the hotel. Finally, Francesca said we have your Uber driver on the line, come speak to him. Which I did and arranged to get my phone. Phone was delivered 30mins later. PHEW!!!!! I have travelled a bit all over the world but this by far was service beyond boundaries!! Kudos to the entire service team! I wasn’t even staying at the Intercontinental but had come to meet someone! I now heading to Toronto and guess where I am staying? Intercontinental Toronto Centre, of course.

Very nice hotel in great location. Walk to Fanueil market and the north end. Rooms are very comfortable with great city views. Had sausage pizza in room. Fantastic. Inilta Monteiro, front office supervisor, was a great partner for room and breakfast. She is a huge asset to the IHG team.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in Boston. It never disappoints. Very clean and we were on the 10th floor with a beautiful view of the greenway. We were surprised to have a large soaking tub which the children enjoyed. One recommendation is to provide bubble bath for these rooms. Room service was excellent. The hotel is walking distance to the wharf and the hotel is close to some great restaurants. They have a sitting area outside with a bar and family activities. The childrens museum is also across the river so walking distance.

The service at this hotel is top notch. I didn’t have a single negative experience the entire stay. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, helpful and kind. Room service is delicious and was always delivered quickly. The nightly turn down service was a nice touch with bottled water. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were excellent with a shower and a separate tub. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I would definitely stay again.

We booked a club level room. The room was a good size. The Club was also good, and Janine was excellent. On arriving after a 19 hour day there was no water in the room. Called room service which had finished for the day so had to go all the way back to reception 12 floors down to get some. Also, the bath was a waste of time, it would literally take over an hour to fill. Overall not the best experience but the hotel is in a great location. I can’t help think that these major chains are now using COVID as an excuse to make more profit by removing services.

We stayed 2 nights in June. The location is great, walking distance to a lot of things to see and do in Boston and also walking distance to the ferry to the Cape. The check-in and checkout process was quick and easy. I really liked how the property has a beautiful grassy knoll on the river, it was very relaxing. There was a little but of an issue with my bill at the checkout, but the manager made a point to very quickly and satisfactorily fix this issue. It was much appreciated and I look forward to staying there again soon.

I stayed at the ICBoston for 7 days and loved it, the hotel is in a good location, away from the main tourist sites but, an easy 10 minute walk made up for by the Waterfront location. All interactions with the hotel team were positive and always a smile when returning the hotel. Unfortunately I am encountering a billing issue for which I have been trying to contact the hotel for 3 days now with no acknowledgement nor response, this is certainly not what I would expect of a hotel at the standard of IC Boston and not my past experience with IC's in general Hopefully, a member of IC Boston will pick this up and provide me with an email address which is actually reviewed so that I can conclude my experience with the hotel positively.

We stayed here for 3 days/2 nights from July 5th-July 7th. Let me first say that the staff working on the hotel side were great. We were able to check in very quickly, our bags were brought to our room with us and upon checking out, our bellman, Patrick, extremely responsive and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean, the location is on the waterfront and near the places we were visiting. There are games set up on the grass that kept the kids busy (cornhole and giant Connect 4 sets). When we first arrived, we ate dinner in RumBa and the following morning we ate breakfast in Miel--pricey but no complaints. However, when we went to breakfast at Miel on the morning of the 7th, we were given a table that was next to some of the restaurant's molding/pillar. We could hear the sound of mice squeaking inside the wall. I immediately brought it to the attention of the hostess who acted somewhat nonchalantly about it. She asked if I'd like to be seated at a different table and then asked me to write down my name. I assumed that she was taking my name so that someone in management would contact me. I paid the full amount of the bill--I didn't request a comp, nor was one offered and I wasn't going to penalize the server, Christian, who did a great job. However, I did expect that I would be contacted at some point by a manager to acknowledge that they knew about mice in the restaurant and were taking some type of action. If they're in the walls of the dining area, there is a strong chance they're in the kitchen. Were it not for the way the rodent issue was handled (or not handled as the case may be). I would give the hotel 4-5 stars. Ultimately, I'd recommend staying at the hotel, but perhaps eating off property.
