I have been to the inn at longwood a few times and every time I see Angie Moura at the front I know that it’s going be a good experience… she quick and efficient and is always so sweet to the kids and as all the helpful tips and guidance … hotels are always clean and quite the maintenance staff is just as sweet and thoughtful on cleaning times need you won’t regret staying here it also near everything
Jazele who works at the hotel is the the most professional and accommodating employee of an establishment that I have met in a very long time. I am a patient at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and I had a special request for my room that she accommodated in a very quick and kind manner. I had a long drive into Boston and was very anxious due to treatment I’d be receiving the next day and she put my mind at ease. She deserves to be recognized for her dedication in making a guest experience a very good one!! Thank you Jazele!! You are appreciated!
I am a frequent flyer at the Inn at Longwood Medical. The front staff are always welcoming, friendly and always eager to help. Whether I need a change in reservation or the return of items I have left behind, Angie M. and Alexandra are just outstanding as representatives of this Longwood Medical Area institution! Throughout the pandemic they were always there to greet me by name and arrange for my prefered room. I will always be grateful for their grace and good humor during these last difficult few years and for the many nights of restful sleep I have enjoyed at the Inn at Longwood Medical.
This is a very run down hotel that had a very cheaply done renovations. Hot water is always iffy, morning or evening time does not effect it, it is equally unreliable for a child to take a warm bath. The USB’s are broken in the last 4 of 5 rooms we have stayed in, so bring a plug and do not rely out USB ports. The blankets on the bath have a sheet on the top and bottom of it, not sewn on duvet, but sheet and therefore you can see how old and yucky the very very thin tan blankets(reminiscent of those old howard Johnson tan blankets from the early 90s) so yuck and it is January! No comforters. Being able to walk to the hospitals is the absolutely only reason we pay $232 in the off season for a weekday night! Oh and no parking included. This is where u go with very limited expectations and only need to get your child to appointments or surgeries & be down here multiple days. We live very far away, and we have tried many. While other hotels are far superior, the traffic to appointments can be stressful and with kids already going through a lot, walking over to the hospital helps. I wish so much they did not take such advantage of people with the high prices, especially being this is next door to a Children’s hospital. No parent should have to save and save to take their child to appts. …
Due to an upcoming transplant for our son, we chose to stay at the Inn at Longview Medical. The scheduling of the procedure had to be postponed and I just spoke with Giselle and she was amazing!! Her customer service was spot on and she was very compassionate and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel based on the service alone!
We had a fabulous experience. We were at The Inn for a heart procedure at Boston Children's for our 17 year old daughter. She was so scared and worried. The front desk clerk Angel was so funny and he even gave my daughter a stuffed animal even though she was 17. It really helped put her mind at ease. He also helped us to understand our options for our stay as we were not sure if we had to stay one night or two. He saved us a lot of money and made our experience as relaxing as it could be during a difficult time. He really was our Angel. Thank you so much. We even ordered dessert through room service and that was a fabulous experience as well. We would recommend anyone stay there. PS The room was spotless too.
Rooms are clean; beds comfortable; a perfect walk to Brigham & Women's Hospital while my husband remains in the ICU. Overnight parking onsite. Angie at the reception desk was a joy and accommodating. Onsite restaurant with attentive staff -- especially Rollins. There also is an adjacent food court/galleria.
The Inn is only about 900' from Brigham & Women"s Hospital, which was the primary reason that we selected it while we were in Boston for my wife's surgery. The lobby was fairly basic and simple. Then when we checked in to the room the cleanliness was very obvious and welcomed. The room was very spacious and the room temp was easy to manage and control and the street noise was next to zero, allowing both of us to get two good nights sleep. The restaurant was superb and the wait staff was friendly efficient and very professional. The pharmacy, being in the same building was also a big plus. The check out was effortless and the desk manager Angel made it that way...again professional, friendly, efficient and helpful. We will return for our follow up visits for sue to Brigham & Women's Hospital.…
Due to a family member needing to be at the Hospital repeatedly for the last 2 years, I have been using the Longwood Medical sometimes weekly. Angel at the front desk as always helped with anything I have needed. Even when they are booked, he always finds a space for me. Angel is such a fitting name, in fact all of them are. You need to see Eddy in the restaurant for dinner who never forgets me and has already become a friend. And in the morning please see Beatrice. She is the sweetest person ever with her cheerful smile and caring way. You can't find a better staff!
I stayed at the hotel for 15 days and I was very well received by Gisele, from Brazil , she was super attentive and guided me in everything I needed! I recomend the hotel for everyone! You will not be disappointed!
