Great hotel very comfortable bed which is a priority for most people. The room was compact but well thought out space for suitcase or bag's coffee making facilities etc .. no breakfast but thats not a problem as local eateries quite near

What an incredible job these folks have done in updating and managing this property. I'd recommend to all - very comfortable bedding (maybe the most comfortable I've had), friendly, sheik and convenient! They do all the little things which really stands out - coffee, waters, bikes. A must stay!

Front desk stuff was outstanding, but overworked with extra-long shifts every day. Room clean up only every other day using the 2000 COVOD excuse, which was very valid back then. All bicycles do not hold seat height, which is dangerous. Several things in the room required repair. Depressing atmosphere. Ridiculous price.

I couldn’t believe this was the same hotel I had read reviews on that were glowing. The one star reviews are accurate. We “upgraded” to a corner room. Don’t bother. You have 2’ on one side of the bed and maybe 3’ on the other and the end of the bed. You can sit on the toilet and lean forward and brush your teeth in the sink. It isn’t in a great location either. You have to walk about 8+ blocks to get anywhere. There is no valet parking, no on site parking. Some of the front desk people were pleasant but our first older gentleman was not. If they are going to tell you where to go park, at least have the instructions written down to hand out to overwhelmed guest. What the other reviews say about paper thin walls, street noise even on 6th floor and tiny twin duvets with no top sheet are all true. Also, the cute little bistro in the photos is only open for dinner. No breakfast or lunch.

Georgous, very clean, and beautiful hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Loved the decor. I liked that there are bikes onsite that can be checked out and used without additional charge. We were able to walk to most places downtown Boston. Only thing that I didn't like was no parking onsite which is understandable due to the location but added an extra $80 to the 2 night stay. Would be nice if the hotel offered some type of discount for the parking garage. Will definitely be staying again if in the area.

Praise: Absolutely love the concept- Pets are truly treated like family! Adorable accommodations & extremely sweet and helpful staff! I will be back! The bikes are a cool option. The EVERYTHING button on the phone is cool and clever like the decor and bedding. Constructive feedback: I would say less extra fees and just add to the original cost. The space was small, but comfortable. Traveling with just my dog, I didn't need a lot of space. I would prefer parking discount for the nearby parking garage.

We didn't expect a "deluxe king room" to be just slightly larger than the width of a king bed. Wonder what a non-deluxe one is. There are no closets, just hangars on the kind of hooks you find in a bathroom. No place to put an open suitcase, let alone 2. Suitcases go under the bed in a slot larger enough for it, but you have to pull it out anytime you want to get something from it, since the draws are also part of the bed frame. Clever, but very cramped. Bathroom had a large good shower with pump bottle products (saves on wasted plastic tiny shampoo bottles, etc) but sink is so small there is no room for even one person (let alone two) to put your personal items, like toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. And no shelves to place any of these either. The exhaust fan was constantly running, so you had to close the door at night to avoid the humming noise. Bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, the people who worked there are terrific (one free drink at the bar, free cookies). BUT, there is a "resort fee" - $15/night to use the wifi and get free bottled water (waste of plastic though). This is the kind of stuff you normally get in any decent hotel, not for an extra charge PER NIGHT! It's a way of keeping the nightly costs low when you search for hotel rates. Location was good in South End with lots of restaurants nearby. But not worth the cost (we paid $305/night with all the fees & taxes in August). Too small, unnecessary resort fee.

When we arrived at the Pineapple Hotel in Boston, we knew we had found something special!! We were greeted by Edward (the GM). There is only one word to describe Edward…AWESOME! He made us feel as if we were being welcomed by an old friend! His kindness was an unexpected bonus, one that you never get at the big chain hotels! He gave us all the information about the hotel, and the city that we could have ever wanted! Our room was admittedly small, but very nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed, and twin duvets. If there was one slightly negative point, it would be the size of the bathroom, and the lack of hooks and shelf space in It. With this being said, they did the absolute best that they could with the limited amount of space! Edward’s staff can only be described as amazing!! MJ, and LaToya were the sweetest and most helpful people you could ever meet! They couldn’t do enough for us, and honored every single request we had!! There was also a gentleman that we interacted with on our floor (unfortunately we did not get his name), but he was absolutely delightful as well! Overall, our experience was a 5/5, and we would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you ever have the chance…we will be back for sure!!

We really enjoyed this hotel in Boston. The staff were great with a particular mention to Seth and Taylor in the Trophy Bar. Seth has so much energy and is so welcoming, what a great personality and he never stops being positive. We dealt with 3 different check in people and they were great, explaining how the hotel operates. We enjoyed the room, I love the Pineapple theme, so qwerky. The room had everything we needed. It was small but compact.

Surly staff at check-in. Tiny room with even tinier bathroom (5ft x 5ft, no joke). No parking and staff not at all helpful in directing you to parking. All guests are charged an "amenity fee" of $15.00 that includes wifi so factor that into your calculation of cost. Bartender at the Trophy Room, who was welcoming and friendly, was the only pleasant aspect of my stay. Checked out early and found another hotel.
