I've been staying at this hotel for years and its always like coming home. Comfortable, impeccably clean, and always pleasantly surprising; the hotel has been very well maintained, and there are just so many little touches that remind you just why you stay at this Four Seasons. Fitness Center was great in the morning and Luke was right there when you needed something. Sottovento in the lobby for coffee was great, and the staff there are always friendly and helpful. It's the little touches that this FS does so well, and I'll keep returning because of it.
In the world of high end hotels, room size and fabulous decor are taken for granted. The real differentiators are in the service (and the little touches) and the four seasons in Boston knocks it our the park! Myself, my wife and our three kids stayed here in early august. The front desk was superb - booking us shows, transport, ferry’s, meals the lot. Super professional, responsive and engaging they get 10/10 - thank you front desk for making our trip seamless. The complimentary high end coffee shop and kids ‘vault’ (kiddies dream sweet repository) were great. I used the four seasons app to request everything from hot chocolate to the room to show tickets and I can recommend using it. Thanks for a great trip four seasons Boston. We will be back.
This is a fantastic hotel with a fantastic staff. Not sure why there are any negative reviews. This hotel is elegant, classic and comfortable. My family of 3 stayed in a suite. We enjoyed the 8th floor pool, fitness center and other amenities. The hotel provides complimentary drinks, snacks and refreshments on the weekends. As well, there is a new concept of a wall-in minibar called the “Vault”. What a great idea and it is a huge hit. Service 5 stars. Comfort 5 stars. Overall a great hotel.
I can't recommend this hotel high enough. I'm 56 years and have stayed at many hotels for business and pleasure. Nothing compares to the staff they have at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston; they are the best. I can't wait for my next trip to Boston.
Stayed for four nights at this lovely hotel across from the Boston Common. Hotel is a little understated in its appearance and my understanding is that they are doing some upgrades but the service is the usual Four Seasons excellence. Great location and spacious lovely rooms. Hard to go wrong here!
Not only did we have an amazing experience during our stay at the Four Seasons Boston, the hotel management went above and beyond for us months after our stay, as well. We visited in October 2021 with our 10 month old son. The hotel had our room setup for us upon arrival with a crib, crib sheets, and a small care package for our son, which included the sweetest little stuffed elephant. Fast forward to July 2022 and our son is incredibly attached to this stuffed elephant. Sadly, it was lost during a family outing and he cried for it the entire drive home. I called the hotel to see if there was any chance they could send us another and Vicky, the front desk manager, went above and beyond for us. She contacted housekeeping to see if they had any more, kept me updated via email, and arranged a fedex elephant delivery right to our front door. This is a top notch hotel in a fabulous location and the guest services are above and beyond. Thank you Four Seasons Boston for the great stay and for making our 18 month old boy so very happy when he received his replacement “Ellie”…
We stayed at the Four Seasons to start off our cruise with American Cruise Lines. We were excited to stay there on July 3, 2022 due to its great reputation. The staff was nice. The room was no better/worse than hotel/motels that change in the $200-$300 per night stays that include a buffet breakfast and shuttle. Issue #1 I opened one of the doors in the room. I thought it was a closet. It opened up to the air filter for the air conditioner/heater. It had almost an inch of dirt on it. I bet it hasn’t been cleaned in over a year. Issue #2 We didn’t realize they do not have a shuttle to pick up/drop off customer. Less expensive hotels do. They couldn’t call a taxi for us but offered to get us a limo at the cost of $240. We said forget it and found our own way over there. Our mistake. Therefore, we will never stay there again.…
I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the staff and service at this hotel. Caleb, Brian, Gilbert and Steve went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable and easy!! The hotel facilities are immaculate and I will put this hotel at the top of my list for a return visit.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Things as simple as hot water or a spoon take over an hour and a half and 4 follow up calls to be delivered to the room. The minibar does not actually refrigerate and if you want one that does, you have to call front desk to have a second minibar delivered to the room.
Who doesn’t like a dreary room with a weird window facing the back roof for 1000 a night? Me. Booked thru Amex and was told no upgrade allowance available, but for an additional charge then game on. Thanks Amex and 4 Seasons The breakfast restaurant is a blight: ugly, dated, small and mediocre fare. Four waiters moving around with no direction from the hostess. Ketchup with yours eggs, ask twice. Toast with your entree, have to remind them. What an awful venue The good is that I only stayed three nights. The bad is that there is no value received. The best is that I am done with the four seasons brand.
