Such a fantastic hotel. We are here every August and it is truly a home away from away. Situated across from the Public Garden you couldn't ask for a prettier location and it's also very close to the Arlington T stop. Very nicely appointed rooms, spacious bathrooms, terrific mattresses....The high point though is the amazing staff. Every aspect of this...

This hotel is truly fabulous. It is arguably, in the most iconic of Boston locations. Directly across from the Public Gardens, close walk to Newberry street and Beacon Hill- the location cannot be beat. Boston is a small city and we walked to many other city areas, right from the hotel. The Four Seasons Boston lobby is gorgeous with chill...

That sounds like a contradictory statement. But the hotel, it's location and ambiance is hard to beat. Overlooking the Commons, it is a pleasure to stay here. We had the benefit of a great room, but we noticed in our room and the hotel floors, had a weird kind of "musty" aroma. Felt like an old hotel moldy smell, not...

I stayed for a week in August for business. Overall it was a lovely hotel, great central location and friendly staff - especially on reception. The rooms were nothing special but had a very comfortable bed! The bar also boasts the best burger in Boston- I would recommend trying this!

This hotel is exceptionally well run. We received an email inquiring if we needed anything prior to our visit. And when we made a few requests they were honored. When we actually checked in, all our requested had been accommodated. We did not have to make a single follow-up call. The rooms are stunning. The staff is consistently professional and...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
