We stayed here for our anniversary and the hotel surprised us with complimentary champagne and dipped chocolate strawberries which was such a nice touch from the management part. Bravo to them !!! Our only disappointment was the service in the restaurant. The foods was amazing but our waiter was terrible.

Location couldn't have been better to see the sites of Boston. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms are small but overall I would stay again. Gave our two kids Kids backpacks w/ games and milk and cookies on our first night.

I was here two nights on business and I loved this amazing hotel. It's the longest continuously operating hotel in the US (they say) and even though it might show a bit of age, you could just feel all the history that must have taken place in this establishment. I felt lucky to stay here, but it was quite by...

Old hotel in Boston. The lobby looked amazing. Perfect location for going around Boston. Our room was nice and comfortable. Tiny window so not a lot of light coming in to the room. The bathroom was ok, not super clean but it had all the necessary amenities. WIFI is not free unless your a member of the hotel chain club....

The Omni Parker House is in a perfect location, walking distance to Quincy Market, the aquarium, and Boston Commons. It's a short T ride from Fenway Park. I visit Boston often, every couple of years. The Omni Parker House is always my first choice. There are fancier places in Boston, but they will cost you a lot more money. For...

I stayed here earlier this year on business on a return trip and was again impressed by the history of the hotel that today is complimented with exceptional service and comfortable design. People are drawn to hotels. There’s something about the center of activity in a busy, full service hotel that attracts people from all walks of life globally. The...

Freedom Trail is right across the street and many notable points of interest are within easy walking distance, which was the primary reason we chose this hotel. As a bonus, it has much history in Boston. They just don't make hotels like this any more, with ornate architectural details, high ceilings and large guest rooms. Expensive but worth it as...

Our 3 night stay was for a work conference. Wins: Immediately I should note the bed was excellent. My wife and I are accustomed to a sleep number bed with different settings, we rarely agree on mattress comfort. Both of us remarked how comfortably we slept at the Omni. Also, what little interaction I had with the staff was always...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
