Yes, all hotels in the area near the Commons are incredibly expensive and have tiny rooms. This hotel is no different. The best things I can say that we got for our money were a great location, walking distance to classic Boston, and that the room was clean. On the other hand: the Boston Crème Pie they are known for,...

We regret that your experience of our hotel and it's many facets was not the typical one, as represented in so many reviews. Hopefully, you'll give us another try in the future!

THe hotel is very convienient as it is closed to Financial area and Boston Common but it is really old fashioned. You can't even close the door of the room wich make the room really noisy. The room is small and the bathroom too. If I can talk about something positive I would say that the bed is really comfortable

We stayed 5 nights in Boston at this beautiful historic hotel. From the moment we arrived the doormen, bellmen and front desk workers at this hotel were very attentive. Our room was a little small but very nice and the bed so comfortable! The hotel is steps from the Freedom Trail so we were in a very good location to walk...

The hotel is very high end and they sneak a few fees in there (such as Internet) that should be included when you're paying so much. It's not as fancy as you'd think, but it's certainly a step up from Holiday Inn. I don't think the food is worth it, but there are hundreds of great places to eat within...

We stayed one night with our 1,5 year old baby in Omni Parker House. I made the reservation through priceline and the prices were very very cheap than other sites. It was a 5 star hotel and close to city center and all attractions. The room was a little bit small but beds are comfortable.I can recommend for all kind of...

I stayed here this past Memorial Day weekend for the Boston Calling music festival. The hotel is in a great location, and the dirty martini at the last hurrah is one of the best I ever had. Staff was nice, but I honestly thought they gave us the wrong room when we arrived. So tiny and the bathroom door hit...

Like some other reviewer wrote, looks can be and are deceiving . The hotel has two entrances with revolving doors , very heavy!!! Must recognize that the door staff were helpful with my daughter and myself. But things began to deviate from what the hotel said will give me upon arrival. let me say that I enrolled in there frecuent...

Our second visit at the Omni Parker House, this time with out of town friends and it was perfect!! The hotel is one of those timeless hotels that you never tire of. From the street you will see the smartly dressed doormen, but once you walk inside it does not disappoint! The lobby is magnificent. The woodwork is beautiful and...

The Omni Parker House is a wonderful place to stay if you are planning on touring the sites of Boston. It is a very easy walk to the Aquarium, Quincy Market, The Boston Common, and of course the theater district. The Freedom Trail is right outside the doors. So easy to get to great restaurants and coffee shops. The lobby...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
