Nice, comfortable rooms with all necessary amenities. Everything went to plan, very friendly staff. No minibar in room, though, which was disappointing. Good location just two blocks from the Boston Common park.

We have stayed here before and it was still a great experience. The only issue I believe they need to work on is their breakfast buffet. For the price we paid $22pp, it was comparable to a nearby hotel's free breakfast. The buffet consisted of: oatmeal with a few toppings, scrambled eggs with parsley, bacon, sausage, potatoes, French toast, cereal...

Convinient Location and Comfortable Room! Over my expectation. Very Good! Amazing! It is close to Boston Common. and there is 7-11 store and Starbucks within 30 meters outside the Gate of Hotel. Hotel is close to China Town so I have walked 7 mins to get to a fantastic Chinese Restaurant!

This was our first time to Boston. We booked the hotel directly and chose based on price and location to Charles River Esplanade. The hotel was beautiful with a very attentive and pleasant staff. Nick at the front desk was exceptionally. Our room was not ready at 4pm but rather after 5pm. Thank goodness there were things to do and...

Very good hotel. Really enjoyed the roof top pool area. The hotel was clean and tidy. Room spacious with a balcony which is a nice change to most city hotel. Hotel is in easy walking distance to Boston common and the subway. The contact we had with staff was pleasant.

Nice hotel near Boston Commons. Had a family room on 19 floor with a good view. Spacious enough for the 4 of us. Clean. Average beds. Positive: location, size of rooms, kids loved the 6 different shampoo selections. Friendly staff. Fast check in/out. Pool was great for a morning swim - kids loved that too. Things to improve: no minibar...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
