Stayed here 5 years ago for a conference; back again this time. Rooms are very small, and just to get a non-monk cubicle, I had to pay $20/extra per night. Front desk people are good and service oriented. Restaurant is horribly overpriced and the service was slow (on a very non-busy night). Last time they changed my room to something... More

The Sheraton Boston is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Near much of the arts in Boston including concert halls, the University, and museums. Very fancy, be aware no complimentary breakfast. Beautiful rooms, but definitely a pricy place.

If you are looking for a great weekend get-a-way this is a great spot. We try to visit every year during the Christmas season and take in all of the great decorations. The kids always enjoyed the attached mall and shopping nearby.

We went there in June 2016 and in everything as I always say you have to take into account the price : the Sheraton Boston is VERY expensive especially if you are not American so you expect the best and comfort of a palace and generally the Sheraton Boston delivers. Huge rooms modernized (hotel was built in the 1960s), quiet... More

I stayed here a year ago and it is still very good. Love the location since I was doing business near, in and around the convention center. Lots of good restaurants nearby. My room was clean, large (king bed) with plenty of outlets. There was a small refrigerator in the room which is nice to fill with my own stuff... More

Great room, great property, great service. Easy in, easy out. Room was large, clean, comfortable. Bed was firm, pillows fresh & firm. Bathroom clean and functional. AC unit quiet. Great view. Greeted by Warren of guest services, welcomed, and made us feel at home. Great restaurant & bar. Courteous valet staff. Will stay again.

You would expect a concierge at Sheraton to be polite on the phone. Instead you get some patronizing idiot with a European accent who hangs up on you before you've been heard out - even when the complaint is that there's no bathtub in the room. Really disturbing.

We would recommend the Sheraton Boston as a great location and family friendly. The hotel links directly to the shopping centre and the staff were all very helpful during our stay. We will come back again.

I was not impressed with this property at all. It just seemed to be issue after issue. Granted, the issues weren't huge, but when you have so many - its a problem. The only positive thing I can say is the woman at the front desk. She was polite and explained everything perfectly to me. That's where the positives ended.... More

Spacious, modern rooms, but a bit over-priced given the proximity of numerous large luxury hotels (Marriott, Colonnade, Mandarin Oriental, etc.) Paid over $330 after tax and feel like I didn't get an experience worthy of that cost. I was surprised to have optional cleaning service, but no recycling containers in the room. Also, the mini fridge is clearly an afterthought.... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
