I stayed at the Hyatt several times in the last month. The first time it was to be at Logan for an early flight. I liked it so much that a week later I canceled my "other hotel" booking and stayed here when I had to come to Boston for a business trip. The staff, food, shuttle drivers and views are all amazing. It was also summer so there is a delightful Harborwalk overlooking the Boston Harbor and skyline which was just wonderful, especially early morning. The sunrise/sunshine on the Boston buildings sparkle from the waterfront rooms. And the airport view rooms are just as exciting, especially for aviation aficionados. This is a delightful, wonderful hotel
Stayed here for a few days. If I may say Shaheem was a good chap and sorted an accommodation issue out for us swiftly. The food and drink and service was excellent. The waitress was friendly and kind. As mentioned Shaheem was on point. As mentioned in another review the check-in process was not ideal and needs improvement, after a 10 hour flight, stressed, hot an bothered you want to be welcomed and be accommodated in a quality manor. Breakfast was ample and nice, evening meal was on point. The views to Boston night sky was amazing! We had a room also that faced the airport which was great as I love planes. I think I would stay again but check process and service needs improving. Cheers.
The property was as expected for a Hyatt Regency. The room and property were clean and well maintained. The decor was contemporary and in good repair. The hotel staff was courteous and professional. However, my experience at the restaurant was substandard. The restaurant was understaffed and, despite the best efforts of the employees on duty, the service was poor. This property was charging inflated rates in August 2022, consistent with industry trends, but did not provide the corresponding level of service to warrant the inflated rates. The property is in an isolated location, which is very convenient for traveling out of Logan…but the on-site restaurant is really the only workable option for dining on arrival/departure days. So, a poor restaurant experience warrants an overall rating of poor.…
Left something in our room when we checked out. Realized it quickly, called hotel but they said no one turned it in. Not exactly what you'd expect, and for 300 a night, no fridge, no coffee maker and slow wifi.
Stayed at another Boston airport hotel last trip there, and the Hyatt is by far preferable. The hotel itself is what you'd expect of a brand name airport hotel - clean and comfortable. Here, the staff are also exceptionally kind and responsive. The view of Boston Harbor is lovely and the harbor front walk, which leads to the Jeffries Point neighborhood (about 10-15 min walk) make you feel like you're "somewhere," not just waiting for the next flight out. If you have a couple of hours to kill, be sure to see the Institute of Contemporary Art's satellite "Watershed" museum (admission is free) or have a meal at Cunard Tavern or Seabisquit.
The view is the only thing this peroperty has going for it and that is about it. Stay away and go to another Hyatt in Boston, you have been warned. Check-in was horrible it was like we were bothering the staff when we wanted to check-in - customer service was non existent except for one associate I observed throughout my stay. Food is beyond horrible - breakfast buffet was horrible and cold and there is nothing nearby. Went to dinner once and didnt get past the appetizer when the spinach dip arrived with burnt blackened bread and cold dip. Items in room were not working and never got repaired or acknowledged after notification. Toileties like toothpaste, mouthwash and bar soap had to be asked for at the front desk and then when clearly used where never relpaced and had to go back to the front desk to ask for more. The views are stunning BUT they advertise outdoor seating, dining, fire pits - NONE of that was available in July/August and it was not due to any covid restrictions or anything, they claimed staff but yet they had staff to put out tables and chairs for the weddings that were held. I think having a wedding is about the only reason why I would go back to this property short of them terminating the entire manangement staff and the chefs. Do youself a favor stay at the HR Boston - Lafayette or the HR Cambridge. While the HR Cambridge could care less if you are Globalist they had (idk about this year) a killer breakfast buffet best I have had and if you get a room with a exterior balcony which is huge btw its a killer view as well and in the morning you can catch the MIT rowing team on the Charles River. If I could I would give this property a negative rating. Wost hotel experience ever and I am including short stay hotels/motels that I used in my youth. You have been warned.…
The hotel room was very clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. The only problem we had was with the automated meter in the parking lot. We would definitely stay here again with the beautiful views.
My wife and I were traveling to Boston for my 40th high school reunion. 25 years ago, we were married at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor, so we decided to stay there for our trip. Hotel was still fabulous. Highly recommend if you are traveling to Boston.
I would NOT stay at Hyatt Boson Harbor again. I suggest finding another hotel in the area where you can receive the quality and service that is paid for and should be provided. Please take heed to this review if you value your hard-earned dollar and would like to receive what you have paid for.
Wonderful harbour view, friendly staff, very good rooms and comfy beds, nice restaurant with great breakfast (pricey but tasty) and dinner options, airport shuttle service, all-in-all enjoyed my stay!
