This hotel is in a great location for visitors who would like to be able to walk to many of Boston’s attractions. The rooms are clean - lots of towels and good air conditioning. Sooooo many restaurant choices nearby (and across the city). Drug stores close by as well. The Tradesman coffee shop is attached - we got daily coupons for it at check-in. They did a brisk business and the service and food was great. The elevators in the hotel were painfully slow and not all of them seemed to be in service. Check-in and check out was smooth if impersonal.

Fantastic hotel from beginning to end. Very clean. Nice size rooms - actually very spacious for a city hotel. Super close to Faneuil Hall and so many great downtown sites. Best of all was the door man, Ed, with the fantastic warm fur hat. We felt taken care of with his great customer service skills. Thanks for a great stay!

Sadly, this Hilton does not look like, act like, or smell like a Hilton chain hotel. Management helped sort the plugged tub and extra pillows, but one would think with advanced notice it would have been prepped. The staff did their best, so I do not fault them, but the building and rooms are in terrible need of updating and renovation. The carpets are manky, the bathroom was a catastrophy, and location was not worth the cost. I could have spent less money, more centrally located, and seen more value for my money. Two days later, I stayed in a small cabin in northern New England that was cleaner than this "Hilton." Maybe this is the future of Hilton-branded hotels - I surely hope not!!! Can trust them like I used to...

Dated hotel and dismal. Service is not a priority - manager laughed when I asked for a late check out and mentioned I had Hilton Diamond status. “Really doesn’t matter”. Valet charges are outrageous. The current TripAdvisor ranking is a good gauge of what to expect. Wish I would have checked it before I reserved the room. Would not have stayed here and will never again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our corner room was roomy with a large bathroom and it was very clean and quiet. Beds were comfy. The concierge and doorman were awesome and very helpful. The location served us well as we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go: Freedom Trail, the North End, the Harbor, Quincey Market, etc. We felt very safe walking in this whole area, even later at night.

Beautiful hotel with great location. Its customer service is amazing! Everyone was super kind! I want a give a special shout out to Barry the concierge who went out and beyond his way to make our lives easier. My husband got bitten by an insect in a tour we took and when we went back to the hotel he provided us with first aid supplies but also made sure my husband was fine. Also he helped fedex a couple of packages and even helped me cover the fee! My family and I like to travel and I can say with out a doubt we’ve never found such an amazing and kind service as the one provided by Barry. Also, Eddie the doorman was great! He gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and was always super quick and finding a cab for us. He was always cheerful and we could tell he enjoyed his work. In general we found all of the staff to be great, the rooms were super nice and spacious. I highly recommend this hotel. And also, don’t miss Boston city, AMAZING place!

Had a great stay at the Hilton Boston Downtown/Faneuil hall. The hotel is really well located and easy to get to almost anywhere in Boston from. My room had high ceilings and lots of natural light. The coffee shop also has a great selection for breakfast. Will come again!

Very centrally located to many of the things we were planning on doing. We did the park and stay, great value. Our room was clean and the pull out worked well in the one bedroom suite. Our room was serviced every day. Every employee we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Keith our concierge was great getting our passes for the hop on hop off tour. My only critique would be explaining where to use the credits that we got each day, we got A $10 voucher for each day and $16 or $18 for 2. But not much explaining of where to use and the hours. We never used Sunday because everything was closed when we got back that evening.

They literally just need to buy a ramp that goes over the curb onto the sidewalk. I (and another patron who uses a wheelchair) had to take our wheelchairs into STREET to the accessible sidewalk to access the hotel. Really?!?! The Hilton needs some sensitivity, universal design, and disability training. Also, my room had pain flecking off the ceiling. The shower curtain to that accessible shower was 6 inches too short. Water went all over the floor making for another safety hazard! DO BETTER HILTON. That being said the valet walked with me to the accessible curb to keep me safe. Here’s a picture of an OLD restaurant in the North End with the type of ramp the Hilton needs.
