This is really a super hotel located at the heart of Boston!! Clearness of the room is very good and service is also in high quality!!! Maybe the weakest point is the internet. If the hotel improves the quality of internet, it will be perfect place to stay at.

I really didn't expect much for the price range and its awesome location next to the green line on the train. It didn't have a mini fridge or many frill amenities you would expect in a more luxurious hotel, but it was very, very clean. Spacious and clean, which was what we needed. The staff members were nice, courteous, and...

The Midtown Hotel had extremely friendly staff, very helpful with recommendations and sites to see. The rooms were clean but could use some updating. Great to have parking onsite but very tight spots.

Had an audition at New England Conservatory and needed to find a place that was close to the school and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The Midtown Hotel was the perfect match for me! I was able snag a great deal for two nights and had a very comfortable stay overall. **Please see my last paragraph for how...

A GREAT hotel. Friendly staff, who made checking in/out a breeze, a fantastic, spacious room and most of all, a hotel in a great location. I was really impressed by the level of customer service I received at the hotel - the staff helped me with directions and a great shuttle service to get me to the airport when I...

Was looking for a hotel with minimum check in of 18. The staff were very friendly. There was no fridge or microwave in our room and the staff informed us of a community room that we could use. I would recommend.

My family stayed one night to bring our daughter to look at a few colleges. The location was superb..we walked almost everywhere. The room was spacious and clean. What I most appreciated was an early 10:30 check in and the low cost to leave our car for two days. They even allowed the car to stay in their garage after...

I have stayed at the Midtown three times in the past six months. Cleanliness is improving--and the refreshed linens et al are great. There is nothing fancy here and the hallways still smell a little funky--but this is definitely recommended if you only need the basics and don't want to spend a fortune. Great area too--with tons of good eats...

We had a great experience at the midtown for our first visit to Boston as a family. Lani and all of the other staff were helpful and friendly, often referencing me by name. The room was small, but very clean and usable. Very close to the green and orange lines.

Location can't be beat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Decor is dated and worn but it was clean. If you're looking for a clean comfortable room to lay your head at night, this is for you. No special amenities.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
