The Midtown provides a good location for those who like to walk a few blocks to the Garden or just two blocks to Symphony Hall. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are somewhat overpriced given that there is no breakfast and things are a bit dated. The room was very clean, but the elevators need to be cleaned.

The hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful! They were always willing to provide assistance and answer questions. The hotel was clean and in a convenient location for conferences and food. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the hotel room.

Staff very friendly. Location perfect for our occasion (Graduation ceremony at Symphony Hall) was within walking distance. Leaving our car until 3:00 P.M. without extra charge was a nice perk. Over all Midtown Hotel was a plus for us. Thank You

I was disappointed and asked for a voucher for a night's stay as our original room's TV was not working. I called the front desk and the maintenance man spent 30 plus minutes trying to resolve our problem. The same thing occurred the next morning and he had to come into our room to attempt to correct the problem. I...

The AC was not working so we called maintenance, they claimed it would be fixed By the time we came back which would be hours later and the AC was not fixed, we ended up checking out and going home and not sleeping over at the hotel.

I have stayed at the Midtown numerous times for both work and personal trips and it is great. It is always clean and for a Boston hotel, the prices are amazing. This last time the A/C was out in the room but they knocked 50% off the bill and were very apologetic.

Ok, my family and I ended up at this location because my Columbo like research skills figured out this property was a Priceline Express Deal and got the room for much less than advertised price. Location was main reason, and the price, but there were mixed reviews online. Walking in the door and down the halls into our room it...

No problem in changing my room at my request. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean, and towels and bedding were changed without my having to ask. The hotel is quite well situated between the Prudential mall and the Symphony Hall, so good access to public transport.

Stayed at the Midtown Hotel for 3 nights after staying in New York. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all very friendly. Hotel room was huge and clean. Only downside was that hotel was a little dated and could do with an upgrade but would stay again.

I have stayed at the Midtown Hotel several times and have always been pleased with the experience. This time I noticed a refreshed appearance of the lobby, halls and rooms. The Midtown is well located to sites, restaurants, shopping and activities, and is reasonably priced. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. The morning concierge was helpful with activities and...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
