We were pleased to see that some refurbishing had been done in the rooms (at least in 284). The bathroom redo and new towels were long overdue! The room was super clean; only the elevator is not clean. The value was excellent this time because the rate for that particular night was good. The previous two times we thought the...

Great place for the value. Convenient location to the subways, restaurants, tourist sites and shopping. Friendly staff. 29 dollars parking for basically two days. Highly Recommended. Plan to stay there again on my next visit.

We were visiting Northeastern University on a a college visit and we selected Midtown based on location. It's a five minute easy walk to campus and was very easy to get to and park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a little outdated and the tub and sink were both clean but discolored/stained but for the...

This property is good for the cost. It's close to the MBTA and located in a great part of the city. However, if you need ADA accessibility, this is NOT the property for you. It does not have an elevator, but it has a chair lift. You have to request that your linens be changed, which is a little weird,...

The hotel meets all the basics and the wifi is free unlike many higher priced stays in the Back Bay. Also coffee in the room which has also gone by the wayside in many hotels. Some needs for repairs in the room but this may have been because we showed up early and they were very courteous in letting us...

Small room, hair and black stains on the towels. Extremely small bathroom with stains on the walls and lukewarm shower (I had to blast the heat to warm up after my shower). No breakfast, and the room is pretty expensive for the condition.

The Midtown Hotel has a great location and is very affordable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there for the weekend in a room with 2 double beds and the bathroom was nice and there was plenty of space in the room. They also offer nearby parking at an additional cost since it's difficult to find street...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
