Our office assistant had booked this hotel for us for those who came from abroad for internal company meetings. We had also a meeting room reserved. As soon as I stepped into this hotel, I thought this is not a business hotel, it's a MOTEL. The smell in the lobby was awful, I don't know what that was, maybe some...

Interior of hotel was dated and has not been renovated in many years. Outside does not represent inside. toilet plugged very easily and wake up call system did not work. It was a good thing I always back up the wake up call service with my cell phone alarm.

We visit the Midtown since a lot of years. The staff is great, especially Mr. Baccus. Very pleasing is the situation to the Symphonie Hall an d the Walking distance to the town..Our wish for the room is, to separate the air-condition in the toilet from the light in the bath-room.

Need new carpets in elevator and hallways. In tree days the elevator floors weren't cleaned. The room was clean and spacious and employees very nice and helpful. The location isn't very convenient if you are a tourist. Nice restaurants near.

The best thing is location. I was pleased with the early check-in offer and the front desk staff was nice. When I got to the room, there was a lady doing the room check to be sure everything was in order. To my surprise, after a few minutes, I noticed that the iron table was there but not the iron...

This is the hotel that time forgot! Very dated & in no way represents the pictures on their website. However staff were pleasant & the concierge was excellent & his local knowledge was invaluable. Central position of hotel was also good.

The cost per night for this hotel was much lower than others in the same neighbourhood - Back Bay/South End. The hotel is a bit dated but clean, quiet and conveniently located on the T line between Prudential and Symphony subway stations. The rooms with two double beds are spacious for a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids)....

Stayed 3 nights here on a family holiday to USA in July. Well located, close to good shopping centre complex & easy to get around Boston from here. About 15 min walk to main park & attractions. Breakfast was a little tricky, but Finagel Bagel close to public library & Au Bon Pain at Copley Place. Both good. Hotel itself...

The hotel is in a great location with downtown only a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is very basic. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the tiny hairdryer is surprisingly powerful. The corridor to the rooms is a little grubby but that's only a tiny thing when you take everything else into consideration.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
