This was by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. They where quick to answer any questions and the room was great. It's also a prime location for great restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend the Midtown Hotel to anybody visiting the Boston area.

This is the first time we've stayed at your hotel. We take 3 trips a year to boston and meet my family from nh. I always book the hotels for all of us and this one seemed like a great spot and it was great deal. The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful. The only issue I have...

Clean, hotel needs updates, style is dated. Walking distance to Prudential Center, Fenway Park, etc. We were attending a Red Sox game and walking in the area the next day. Many coffee shops and great places to eat that you can walk too.

The great thing about the hotel is the staff. Everyone I dealt with were great. I started & ended a tour at the hotel and they let me store an excess bag during that time - free of charge! Hotel also was very clean. Little things show the age of the building - no hooks to hang towels on, bathroom...

We picked this for its proximity to Fenway Park and free parking for ticket holders. On arrival Reception was very busy with groups milling around but they checked-us in promptly and gave us two adjoining rooms which was not requested but was very helpful. The rooms looked basic but I was delighted to find that the bed was very comfortable...

Walkably close to Museum of Fine Art, Isabella Gardiner Museum, Fenway Park, and Boston Library. Lots of places to eat and have coffee or a drink nearby, and Blick Arts is on the corner. It's right by Symphony and Prudential stops. The staff are really nice, and will go out of their way to sort things or advise you.

Great location and the front desk person was awesome. Parking. Was awesome. Bathroom sink drain was so slow it made it difficult to use. Rooms are older and don't present themselves well. Staff was great... But the rooms are worn out and the bathrooms not great.

We liked the hotel, had no complaints, except our room was not cleaned while we were there. We had the sign out all day, and it was there when we got back just before dinnertime. We had to call to get clean towels.

The hotel is in a good and safe location. Close to the Green Line Subway which took us nearly every place we wanted to go without changing lines. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were always friendly and helpful. The night manager Mark Bacchus and his assistant were especially helpful. Charlotte &Linda

My family and I were in town early for a Red Sox game. We arrived much earlier than our check in time. We had booked 2 rooms, and the clerk at the desk was very accommodating in getting us 2 rooms at that time so we had plenty of time to explore Boston. The room was very plain, but very...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
