We have stayed here twice now & will return when we go back to Boston (possibly my favourite city!), the hotel is in a great location, close to the aquarium, harbour & Faneuil Hall. Rooms are clean & comfy, we have only stayed in the ones looking over the atrium, they were a little darker but it didn't deter us...

I booked a room via Expedia at this hotel because of its location - it was exactly where I needed to be. We prepaid for the room. When we arrived we were told we were in a "cabin" - I asked what that meant - we were in the basement. Fine, until we got to the room and there are...

Recently updated. Renovations give it a modern, cool look. Excellent location to Fanuel Hall and the Aquarium/harbor area. Right at the blue line for easy access to airport. Nice bar downstairs. Enjoyed our stay. Had an inside view but an outside would be more fun. From this location we walked to North End and we walked to Back Bay

Terrific little boutique hotel close to the harbor, historic sites and Boston Public market. Great place to stay to be right in the middle of everything. The aquarium and the harbor are close by. Walking distance of everything.

In almost all respects the Harborside Inn is a Boutique Hotel: - Staff are warm, welcoming and professional - Bed was comfortable - Bar/Lounge is the outstanding aspect of this property...so I suggest coming for a drink...not for the Hotel Room. Problem - Price tag: $300 (Thursday night in early May 2017) - Room was small, with dormitory style/quality furnishings...

I have only stayed for 2 nights but it was a lovely stay. Very attentive staff at the front desk, always happy to help with any question I had. The place is nice, quiet and clean. Good value for the money given the fact it is Boston. Would definitely stay there again!

Coming back to Boston we wanted to be situated near Quincy market. This was the cheaper hotel in the area but did not disappoint. Easy access from the street, swift check in, quirky conversion from an industrial or warehouse building into a hotel including maintaining some of the original brick walls in the hallways and even inside your closet. Good...

I stayed here for a business trip and really enjoyed it. The hotel is pretty funky -- my room had stairs in it -- and the staff are friendly. They have a computer lounge and a mini cafe and bar downstairs.

When my daughter and I returned from a Puerto Rico vacation, our fight arrival was too late for the Maine bus. Booking.com had an excellent price. The inn is located across from the aquarium and is well-appointed, regarding both management and space. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone, business or vacation. Uber shared ride only $6-$7 to Logan.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
