Hotel much too expensive (355USD/night) for the level of service and room amenities. No fridge, no safe in the room, no daily service. Well located in the center, but would recommend to stay further from the center while close to a MBTA station.
If you have plans on leaving your car for the week, or not even bringing a car, this is a great location! Close to Faneuil Hall, and shopping. T stops are2 blocks away. Parking is available at a discounted rate but it is NOT on premises. There was only 1 "check-in" parking spot available which is pretty stressful I think. The rooms may be considered a bit small but was perfect for our needs. They were clean and the hotel was quiet. This may seem like a small thing but I definitely consider it a nice perk-they had a purified water dispenser on our floor (I'm guessing every floor) with free water bottles. Very much appreciated!
Horrible check in & check out experience- was harrased for 1 hr at checkin despite credit card authorization form was sent by my agency, just because of lack of internal communication between hotel management & staff. I was denied hard copy of bill as I checked out earlier by 1 day. Internet was very patchy in my room, despite complaining 4-5 times, no resolution. No housekeeping throughout my stay despite asking for it.
Location location location! Couldn’t be beaten for exploring downtown Boston. Walking distance from Boston Common and Quincy Market and also a stop for the “hop on hop off” trolley tours is right up the street. Every floor has a water station which I loved! TV fitted with a chromecast which was brilliant for more relaxed evenings. Had a nice breakfast in the bar downstairs (not included) on two days, didn’t have any other meal there but the menu looked decent. One small complaint I would have is that housekeeping was on request only but to be fair we were told this on check-in. Would highly recommend staying here!
OK but for the money not good value. Bathroom straight out of the 70's. Thin walls neighbours could be heard doing what comes naturally. Would avoid the brand in future as had better expectations. Staff very informal no uniforms, good coffee station. But the holes place could do with a refurbishment, especially for the price.
Quaint little hotel with access to all attractions in the area. Quiet and nice area. Loved the water bottle and spring water refill area on each floor. Dont have a water bottle dont worry they provide those too.
This is very conveniently located at the heart of the city. However, because of that the room space is very limited. Upkeep of the room isn't at it's best. My room's carpet was very dirty and had sticky stains on it. Bathroom area has rusts and the shower curtains were a formality (did very little to keep water in the shower area). This place doesn't have much amenities. Bed size definitely felt smaller than queen but more importantly the quality of pillow was terrible. They had water station and refillable water bottles, which was nice. Overall the staff was very courteous and helped with what was needed.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with smiling and helpful faces. We stayed for 3 nights and always had exactly what we needed. The location of this hotel is within great walking distance to so many things to see in Boston. When we go back to Boston we will definitely be staying here again!
This was a perfect location for downtown Boston. It sits in a really quiet street but is minutes walking distance from all the major attractions. We stayed in a double room with a sofa bed. Both beds were really comfortable, even the sofa bed which can be sketchy in some hotels. Bathroom was small but functional and the power shower was great. Staff were on hand for any requests, they were polite and helpful from check in to check out. The property was clean. The lounge was nice when waiting for taxis etc. The Elephant and Castle Pub downstairs had a great menu and bar selection. We didn't have breakfast here but chose to walk to Cafe Bonjour which has the nest breakfast in town. Overall I would definitely stay here again when I return to Boston.
Enjoyed our stay at CQ. The front desk is extraordinarily helpful and great at directions. We had a lovely 2 night stay and the sites of Beantown. My only suggestion is they add a safe to the room so our valuables are secure.
