Just arrived back in Phx from our 5th trip to the Beach Cottages. We LOVE this place. Just a few steps and you are on the beach. Most importantly, those are flat steps! The cottages are cozy, nice kitchens, and comfy new beds. Brought along a work laptop, and worked from the dining table, could see the surf, and the...

We have been staying at this property on and off for the last 25+ years. You could not ask for a better location and price. This property is literally steps from Pacific Beach. The property offers cottages, apartments, and motel rooms. The main building has amazing ocean views from the second and third floors. The room in the West Building...

We have stayed at Beach Cottages many times over the years, and it has gotten progressively unpleasant in the more recent years. They used to keep the property freshly painted and polished, but they are letting it get all run-down. They've made it all these years because the same people go back year after year...because you must re-up your reservation...

We stayed in the main hotel. Rooms are very basic – no air conditioners, no hair dryers, pay for ice, etc. Rooms are older but very clean. The kitchenette was a nice addition but very few plates, etc and no freezer. Appreciated have parking that was free. Front staff was helpful but not overly friendly – hardly looked up when...

My husband and I have been coming to the Beach Cottages since we were dating...16 years. My best friend has always come with us, back then we partied and it was a great location to walk to the bars! Since we have families now we don't do much of that but it's still the perfect place to vacation! We have...

This is the 3rd year in a row my family has stayed at the Beach Cottages over Memorial weekend and this isn't a tradition we'll ever be ending. We can pick rooms in a way that accomadates many of us. We've stayed in the actual cottages as well as the hotel rooms and are just as happy in either. The...

I spent my last here before taking a flight back to Europe. The hotel was great to get a good night's sleep and as I was lucky and got a room on the 3rd floor, facing the ocean, I was able to enjoy the beautiful sunset and listen to the waves. The view is really unbeatable, but you will have...

Stumbled across this hotel & decided to stay a few nights. Lucky for us they had availability. All the employees here are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is right across from the beach & has spectacular views. We stayed in a "standard" room in the main building. The room was small, but clean & we had a nice deck...

Our family reunion this year involved two boys age 4 and 6, three adults, and two 70-year olds. The location of Beach Cottages, right next to the beach, is unbeatable. We had 3 motel rooms in the west wing (3rd floor) and a two-bed apartment in the main building, and stayed about two weeks. Views of the ocean were great...

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this awesome location in Pacific Beach! First, the hotel room, although older in style, was very clean and fully equipped for our family. We stayed in the 3rd floor of the hotel portion (not the cottages) and I would highly recommend this. We would sit in our room with a full view...
