Sadly, this hotel was a big disappointment. The rooms are horribly dated and badly maintained. 50% of the lights in the room did not work and last night I discovered the hvac did not work. The temperature had been fine and I mistakenly assumed it was working. Instead the fan was working which was enough for the first two nights...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

All the family loved this hotel. The rooms were huge with enormous sliding doors opening out onto a balcony overlooking very pretty gardens and the water beyond. There were humming birds everywhere and ducks with their ducklings around the grounds. The pool area is lovely with a decent size shallow pool and several spa pools. Lots of free sun loungers...

Stayed for a conference for 3 nights. Room was large, clean and had everything you needed. Nice outdoor seating area. Hotel fronts onto the bay and there is good running in either direction along Mission Bay. Breakfast was good but pricey ($24 for the buffet). The staff were all friendly and obliging. A really nice pool area with seating areas...

Great hotel and great location in one of the finest vacation cities in the US. The layout of the hotel and the amenities give it a large high end resort feel but without the size and traffic of a large high end resort. I have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here every time I vacation in...

We upgraded to this hotel when in San Diego the beginning of May. It was cloudy outside so we asked if someone could light the firepit by the pool for us (5 of us). They told us only at night. We then moved to their restaurant that has outside seating with the table heaters but again they would not light...

The customer service at this hotel was incredible. Gordon(the concierge) was exceptional! He made suggestions for places to eat, shows to see, beaches to visit, and tours to go on. He was 4 for 4 in guiding us to the perfect experience. My daughter and I could not have chosen a better location.

This "resort" badly needs an upgrade. The rooms are worn, the wallpaper peeling, the ceilings bubbling and peeling and NO view of anything. The staff ranges from helpful to rude. The restaurant food is mediocre at best and the bar food is horrible. Go some where else if you plan on staying in the San Diego area.

I came down to San Diego with my family recently and we really enjoyed this hotel. As HHonors members we were treated very well. My kids enjoyed the trip and I certainly can't complain about that! Would stay again.
