This hotel has pros and cons. The main advantage is that it's right on the pathway that follows the beach all the way down to Mission Valley. And the hotel has bikes that you can borrow. There are some decent bars and restaurants nearby, but the hotel itself is in a quiet area. It's got the feeling of a beach...

Thank you for taking time to review us and mentioning our fabulous location and enjoying the amenities we offer. The hotel does have that beach house feeling since it was built way back. Sorry to hear your room didn't get cleaned we will have to look into that with housekeeping. Hope to have you back on your next visit. Best,...

Clean little place, friendly staff, but VERY limited parking. Website only states $20 for self-park, but didn't mention that there was only 6 or 7 parking spaces, and they sell out quickly. Parking on the street is free, but 2 hour limit. We found a parking lot a couple blocks away that charged $40 for overnight. The room itself was...

Thanks for the review. Sorry to hear about your parking experience. We do say in the confirmations to call in to reserve parking ahead of time. There is about 17 free street parking spots outside of the hotel. I wish we could of helped you get a spot. Glad you found the room clean and found value in your stay....

Although the location and staff are great, the rooms are very small. I think our room only came with two double beds wall to wall... and it didn't have air conditioning. They provide you with a fan and I thought opening the windows would be enough. It was NOT! This hotel is also near several bars and it is noisy...

Great Beach Location. We considered one of the expensive resorts with lots of amenities. We considered one on the affordable hotels in Mission Valley. We decided to get something better by staying at the Pacific View Inn. The location is great. Right next to the beach. You can hear the ocean from your room. Close to lots of great restaurants....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in 2015, as part of a 10 day road trip. I wanted to stay at a beachfront hotel, and this one was by far the most affordable! It was my favorite place we stayed! We loved our first visit to San Diego and had to come back again from MN this...

Location, Location, did I say location already lol! Staff was very friendly and I accidentally took my room key with me after checking out but management was willing to work with me to get the key back to them! This will definitely be a memorable lodging experience! Conveniently located near many restaurants, bars, and most importantly the beautiful Crystal Pier!...

Very good location- close to the 30 bus if you're traveling by public transport. Take advantage of the surf boards, boogie boards, and bikes that are located in the lobby. The rooms are fairly basic, but if you're planning on spending time outside/ visiting amenities in the area, you should be fine. Also the Wifi was great, so if you...

If you are looking for a cheap hotel this might be the right choice. The rooms are clean and very basic: a bed, coffee maker, magnetron, small refrigerator, tv, small bathroom. No desk, nor chair. The hotel offers free wifi and a limited continental breakfast. There are a limited number of parking spaces (8) for 23 rooms. You can reserve...

Our cute little room was 2nd story with a magnificent view of the Pacific. We left the windows open for the sea breeze and to hear the surf all night! Incredible "beach scene" along the boardwalk where we chatted with locals and tourists alike. (So many surfers!) Admittedly, I'm from the "Gidget" era. Maybe that's why I fell in love...

Stayed at this beach inn because it is right there in the middle of the beach scene. Basic but comfortable, clean and affordable. My room was on the second floor with a small view of the sea. The room also included a small kitchen with a sink, large frig and microwave. Just step out the door and you are right...
