When we arrived, the exterior of the hotel was very colorful and set the tone for a relaxing stay. Christian and Lyle at the front desk were very welcoming. They offfered suggestions on where to eat and handed out some free appetizer coupons to local restaurants. This location has a Starbucks's that served breakfast. Breakfast was not free unless you...

It is just blocks from old town and minutes from MCRD. Close to the freeway to hop on and go other places. Minutes to downtown, balboa park, and sea world. It's in a residential area so you don't have to worry about noise. Our room faced the freeway, but we couldn't hear it. Great location!

I have long considered the Court Yard Marriot to be the minimum acceptable stay which is still covered by most business budgets. I have not been let down in more than a decade of travel and this one is no exception. The décor on the exterior is quite unique given it's location, but inside you will find the good old...

Older exterior but comfortable inside the restaurant food was good. Parking spots a little tight but overall not a huge issue. Rooms clean and front desk personal were friendly and helpful. Front desk area is tight when it is busy.

I checked in early being platinum on mobile. When I went in at 1::30-2:00 they said they have a remote building - not the Main one. I said that's not fair and I am platinum and expect a room in the main building. They said sorry and stuck me in a separate building that housed 6 rooms. Even if I...

Best Marriot Hotel I have ever stayed at. A 5 star as both hotel and staffs just fantastic and very courteous. Bistro as good as any full service. Looking forward to a return trip to this location this summer as it was easy to find directly of I-5, easy to get to and access to airport was in 5 minutes.

Loved the location easy access to all parts of San Diego. Clean updated facilities, walking distance to all the Old town restaurants, bars and attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy walk to trolley when didn't have a car. Great place to stay for a fair price.

I was completely satisfied with my stay here. This hotel is located in a very quiet area, the highway was right next to it but there was minimal noise. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Many restaurants just a few blocks away. They provided shuttle service to the airport and also to the MCRD. The Bistro located downstairs was...

This was our second stay at the Courtyard in Old Town, and it won't be our last. Significant upgrades since our last visit. Lobby area is amazing. Lots of great seating near and around a full service bar. Check in/out area has a kiosk to print your boarding pass, small market place for forgotten toiletries not provided by property. We...
