There was a very strong smell of paint. It seemed the whole building had been painted from top to bottom very recently. There was noise from air-conditioning equipment at the back. The microwave was 6 feet off the ground. Not very convenient. The refrigerator was not functioning properly. The hotel management didn't send me the number of the room, which...

Thank you for this quality! The room was clean, the bathroom always perfect but first of all the staff and the volunteers were so friendly! I'll miss the Wednesday pub crawl for sure ;-) see you soon in San Diego

Beautiful building, good beds. But damn. 10 AM checkout? Why? Rushed people crowding the kitchen, trying to wake up in a hurry in a windowless room as they stuff their faces to make it out in time? No common room to make a private-ish phone call in? Co-Ed bathrooms? Standoffish Northern European staff? Friendly Mexico is fifteen miles away. Never...

So much fun, love the place and the staff. Such a good location, heaps of bars and clubs and places to eat. Lots of fun activities put on by the hostel for you to make new bffs. Love how clean and tidy they keep it.

Pleasant room but extremely noisy, both street noise, loud music from downstairs bar, and loud neighbors. Fine if you're a kid in town to party but not good for the business traveler. Would not stay again.

Me and my friends stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of our road trip. We really liked this hostel, the vibe, the people, it was just great! I actually even met some guys with the same last name as me, and a guy I used to go to school with. Small world huh? There was plenty to...

I chose this hostel because I'd stayed in the USA Hostel Los Angeles in the past so was confident it would be as good as that one. A little difficult to find as it's just a single doorway on a busy street- easy to miss as you're walking by. It was clean and well kept. Beds were comfy and showers...

“Room 17 is a 6 woman dorm. Would a folding chair or a small step stool be added so short people like me can reach the top bunk more easily? I borrowed a stool from a shower to reach more of my upper bunk. (I understand that space is limited in room 17 but this little extra would really make a difference.)”
