Not knowing the greater San Diego area we decided on this locale because it was more economical for our vacation budget. We arrived after 10:00 pm after a cross country flight and found that we would be able to rest in a plain, yet comfortable room. The decor was reminiscent of the seventies style. The continental breakfast was as expected,...

True a little far away from main street and you have to walk uphill, cross freeway. But very lone airy and green locality. Four storied building with full amenities. Super service. They arranged for a microwave oven for me on the room. I brought good chicken roast from the sea food resturant keep it in freeze and are heart's content...

I was looking for a place to rest for the night and found this place and an adjacent property West Park Inn (same ownership) on Hotels.com. I was about to book it and thought I should just walk over and do it in person since I work nearby. Im glad I didn't book online. The rate was $57+tax which comes...

Staff are always nice. I can always find a clean room at the last minute. Some rooms are newly remodeled. West Park Inn has a gated area. Very friendly & close to Gaslamp, Downtown, Hillcrest, Airport, Seaport Village, anything. Always enjoy my stay here.

Stayed here when connecting overnight at San Diego airport. Checked in at midnight, checked out at 6 AM. Lowest price hotel in town that night but 3.5 stars on TA was deceptive. Good: efficient checkin late at night by Jasmine I think. Rooms clean, microwave, small fridge, free bottles of water at checkin, free breakfast (though we never saw it...

This is a budget hotel with budget services, Its location is not the best, but you access easily to public transport that can take you to the main viewpoints in San Diego, even they are on walking distance from this hotel; Balboa Park is very near from there. The first day we arrived , the room we got was totally...

We have enjoyed our stay here. Extremely clean, comfortable beds, fridge, microwave and all amenities, they havent forgotten anything here. Windows that open for fresh air, and a very big continental breakfast. The courtyard with flowers and fountain is a refreshing change to look out onto or sit and use your laptop or read. Much better than the stuffy hotels...

Overall, we enjoyed our 26-night stay at this hotel. Rooms are basic but clean and serviceable. Flat screen TV, fridge and microwave are a plus. We enjoyed the nutritious breakfast with many choices. The inviting, lush green courtyard with a fountain reminds us of serene Spanish courtyards in Barcelona. Centrally located, convenient to transportation. Most of the staff are very...

This hotel is in a good location. The rooms are a bit small but are very clean. Each room has a fridge and microwave which are very useful. The staff could be more friendly, the breakfast needs cereal but is ok. The main problem is parking, there is none on site and it costs $12 a day to use the...

We are still in this room and our experience is so bad so far that I couldn't wait to write. The staff was rude, untrained, careless and disrespectful, calling customers "dude" and cursing at the credit card machine when he made an entry mistake. The check-in process took over thirty minutes, and when we got to the room it was...

I would like to apologize for your bad experience. It really surprises me to hear that your room was not ready for guest use. We have supervisors in the Housekeeping department to inspect guest rooms prior to check in. It is obvious that this system failed for your stay. I would ask for you to contact me directly as I...
