My husband and I just returned from a quick trip to San Diego and I must say we picked the best spot. This hotel is situated right in Old Town, where there is authentic food, drinks and tons of history. The staff here is the friendliest we've ever seen in California...anywhere is California. Check in was quick and the three...

When visiting a place for a few nights what do you really need! This is a great place just for that. Very close to the airport but could not hear the planes. Walking distance to old town where we had a couple good meals and quaint place to walk around. Centrally located to the highways to get anyplace you want...

Lxrxaxcx - Thank you for the wonderful play by play of the youth at our complimentary breakfast. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the free entertainment throughout your stay. Thank you for shouting out the outstanding job our breakfast attendant Denise does, she certainly know how to keep our guest happy and full! Thank you again for choosing to...

I had to book this hotel at the last minute after an awful and unsafe experience at another hotel. Mara at the front desk was sweet and understanding and did all she could to make up for our terrible experience the night before. The hotel is clean and safe, breakfast is fresh and delicious and the staff goes out of...

We stayed at this property during Thanksgiving week and we had a great experience. I read a lot of the other reviews and I am surprised by some of the negative ones. First, I feel it is a very safe hotel. There is plenty of lighting below in the underground parking area. The parking area is pretty tight for larger...

As a long-time Marriott customer with elite status, I try to stay on their properties whenever I am traveling. With a quick overnight business trip to San Diego, I made a last-minute reservation and my usual location was booked. TripAdvisor reviews were acceptable for this location and I booked my stay. After nearly a month of emails with the property...

Thank you so much for your feedback. Safety is a top concern to us here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, and I am so sorry you did not feel safe while you were here on property. Your feedback was well received and I am working with the Chief Engineer on many opportunities to make all of guests feel more...

This place is ok, but not really worth the $200 a night we paid. The room is basic business style room, we did get a balcony as booked. The balcony doesn't have furniture to sit on. There isn't any complimentary water which I would expect for the price. Air con worked well. Reception staff were helpful but housekeeping not great....

This was the first time we had stayed at a Fairfield Inn Hotel and we were pleasantly surprized by the accommodations. We used Marriott Reward Points for our 3 nite stay and we had a nice comfortable bed and clean room with free breakfast in the morning in the dining room. We were in Old Town so we were able...

My parents, husband and I absolutely loved our time in this hotel. The staff were lovely & friendly and helped us make attraction bookings etc. Free breakfast was tasty & plentiful. Our rooms were a good size, clean & modern. The laundry room was a great facility to offer. Both machines were cheap to operate & fast. Great to leave...

This is an older hotel, but doesn't feel like one. Probably updated in the last few years. Clean hotel, friendly staff. There were many guests but at night I couldn't tell. Solid construction the way things used to be built provides a quiet environment. The grounds are very nice and the courtyard view has a resort feel to it. You...

I booked this hotel because of the location in Old Town, San Diego. The front desk was very efficient and had all rooms assigned by name. Billing was fast and there werre no surprises. The rooms are large, quiet, clean and well appointed. It was nice enough I went back a week later and steyed there.
