We enjoyed our stay at Hillcrest with Ann. We met some very nice guests at breakfast every morning and Ann was more than willing to accommodate all them by helping them with directions and providing info on nearby restaurants & attractions. Our room was clean, warm & inviting as well as cozy. We would definitely stay there again as well...

A week later, we still have a very warm glow from our weekend at Hillcrest House. We felt very fortunate to book a room on short notice in the first place; Ann was not in her office when I called but she stayed in touch remotely, coordinating with my schedule at my own office, until my wife and I had...

This B&B and is a real find. Ann, the owner, is a lovely lady who does everything to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. It was a real breath of fresh air after having stayed in LA, where the staff were not nearly as accommodating. The room was cosy, clean and lovely. The sheets were gorgeous (Ann also sells...

What an amazing business Ann has. The property is beautiful. Ann greeted us warmly and generously upgraded us free of charge from the Gaslamp to the Balboa as she had a spare space. Not many places do this in this day and age! The room was big and super clean. The sheets were heavenly. The location is excellent and Ann...

My husband & I found this B&B online for a get away trip before he leaves for Afghanistn. The Hillcrest House is a beautifully decorated & landscaped home in a great location close to all the San Diego attractions! The home's owner, Ann, was wonderful & friendly & accomodating! Everything was clean & more than comfortable! We stayed in the...

The Hillcrest House B&B is a marvelous inn with impeccable service and lovely rooms. Innkeeper Ann Callahan sees to each guest's needs. In my case it was an allergy to feather pillows. She saw to it that all of the feather pillows my room were replaced with foam pillows. The bedding is the most comfortable I've ever experienced with 5000...

Ann is a welcoming, gracious host that opens her home to a wide array of visitors. We are treated like family. When my husband and I are in San Diego, Hillcrest House Bed & Breakfast is the only place we will stay!

Ann will tell you how to get anywhere in San Diego, spend time talking with you, suggest good restaurants and things to do. She's an absolute delight. The house is comfortable and quiet and the neighbors are friendly.

What a beautiful place to relax and get away from it all. I traveled to San Diego to race in the AFC 5k/Half marathon and being health conscious was delighted with the heart healthy breakfast provided every morning. I can't wait to visit San Diego again and I know Hillcrest House will be seeing me again!
