Looked after bags early on arrival. There was no mention of the noise issues throughout the evening and in to the morning. If we had known the live band was due to be playing in the hotel with screaming audience we would never have stayed here. We came in about 9-9.30 to watch the tv, we contacted the help desk...

Excellent location. Wasn't impressed by the room. Felt like a warehouse. My guess is they can't renovate too much without losing the integrity of the original building. Windows drowned out much of the sound which was nice. Staff was very friendly. Room was just OK.

The Keating is one for the ages, a bit like a Hotel Budapest. It's vibrant red décor seduces you into a dwelling of mystique and the quirky annoyances like the world's slowest elevator are things you can't help adoring. Front desk staff all highly accommodating. Location great in Gaslamp, noisy on Fridays and Saturdays as the drunken hordes flood to...

I was very impressed apon checking in, we were served with champagne. When we reached our room in PH floor the room was not very pleasant. Couldn't figure out how to turn on shower. There was a dirty rag on the floor next to the sink. The shower rug ws stained orange. The bedding did not look fresh. There is...

Dear Gisselle, We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate situation you were faced with when entering your room. Our staff works hard to make sure our guests get great service, but sometimes mistakes are made in that pursuit, and we apologize that you had to deal with it. The Keating Hotel is a great place for anyone looking to experience the downtown nightlife of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter offers. There are literally hundreds of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs withing easy walking distance from their location. The rooms are large and uniquely decorated with chic modern amenities. The stainless sinks and walk in showers were great! The music playing...

The style of The Keating seems to represent the Gaslamp Quarter where it's located. Formerly a business and library building with the first elevator in San Diego. The individually styled suites are wonderful with unique furnishings like the copper covered tub in the Macallan suite. The really large windows let in lots of natural light and provide a great view...

Instantly upon my arrival at the Keating, I could tell that this hotel was a little different to the usual places I tend to stay on business trips. I was offered a drink while I was checking in, which, after a long day of travel to get to San Diego, was a lovely, welcoming touch. The team at the front...

Location is fantastic and they have the best beds I have ever slept in. It gets very loud form the music of the downstairs bar until 2 am if your room is on the first floor. Amenities are good, bathrobe and yoga mat are fantastic. Nice shower too

I stayed at the Keating for a nigth. On the bright side, its location is excellent, very close to the pier, and in the middle of Gaslamp, close to the best part of the city.
