I have to say that I am very disappointed in this property. I was initially excited to stay at this hotel because I had very positive experiences at other Andaz properties in Hawaii and New York. And, that's why I decided to stay at this hotel. During my this stay, I found out that Andaz San Diego is not up...

Great modern hotel situated in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, perfect if you want to be close to the busy nightlife. I had read lots of review about the noise from the streets nearby but we enjoyed a relaxing stay without any issues with noise. The room was modern & very clean, medium sized but plenty of room for...

Modern hotel, Room really nice, rooftop bar is good. Get great views. Staff helpful and friendly. Good location for bars and restaurants as it's in the gaslamp quarter. Good value for money also. Would stay here again.

Extraordinary hotel stay, albeit brief, at a wonderfully appointed, well-located, modern boutique hotel in the heart of San Diego's lively Gaslamp District. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, we were warmly greeted at the curb, where our bags were promptly collected by the bellman, and were hospitably escorted to the check-in desk and introduced to Riley, who...

I recently had to travel to the Riverside wine country for a wedding and decided to fly to San Diego (instead of Ontario). I stayed at three hotels on the short 3-night trip (2 Holiday Inn Express and this Andaz). While the Holiday Inn Express in downtown San Diego offered me a spacious, brand new renovated room, the sleep quality...

Great hotel, great staff and lovely ambiance. Overall the Andaz made for a really enjoyable first experience in San Diego. The Staff were very competent and the style of the hotel is modern chic. We will definitely be back in future

The staff is curt and aloof. Walked in to lobby to check in with bags in hand and the staff just starred and didn't utter a word. Ate at the restaurant on the roof and the staff rather talk to themselves than acknowledge a patron. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were yellow and stale. The food was just not...

Opportunity to visit the Andaz for a 2 nights stay over in the city. Drive-up to the hotel’s entrance was promptly met by the valet; check-in was efficient and friendly. Lobby is a little snug but functional. Assigned room faced the interior and was therefore perhaps quieter but arguably less bright. Room was Andaz-esque in its décor and amenities –...
